The hotel itself is simple but clean. This is all we needed. Alberto is super friendly. He is willing to give you suggestions about where you could visit around the city. The hotel is located about 5-7 minutes walk from subway station Rio del Janeiro. There are numerous restaurants, cafes nearby. In fact, there is one restaurant right around the corner about 1 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a very big supermarket nearby. The neighbourhood felt very safe. I recommend to stay at this hotel for a few nights for anyone that want to experienced a more authentic porteno life.
