325 reviewsThis was a great hostel close to the El Chalten bus station. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. They spoke Spanish with you if you wanted, but could and did switch to English when you ran out of Spanish skills. They knew the area well and gave great information regarding activities and what was around town. They could even make some bookings for you. The rooms had large lockers, plenty of plug-ins, individual heat and windows that opened for fresh air. The common areas were comfortable and spacious. There was somewhat secure luggage storage. The internet worked well enough. The kitchen had two stoves which was nice, but little counter space so it got a bit tricky cooking and cleaning up after yourself sometimes but no-one was cranky about it. It was an old school key system where you left the one key at the front desk, but it seemed to work so that was fine really.
