This place is sincerely incredible: unbeatable location, fantastic view of mountains and Nahuel Huapi lake, fully equipped kitchen, a daily cleaning service included, comfortable and pleasant overall.. internet, direct tv , parking private and safe, grilling area, huge cabins super clean, hot water and fan in the room etc. Also very quiet and Rodolfo is very kind and attentive and friendly. He will make sure you will have a great stay. Very close to everything in circuito chico attractions. If you have availability, don’t hesitate and stop searching, this is your place. So far, the best experience in my years traveling. 

My husband and I are so glad we chose to stay here while visiting the Bariloche area.   I did a lot of research and knew that I did not want to stay in the town center, nor on the outskirts.  The most beautiful places are located a 20 minute drive from town on the Llao Llao peninsula and surrounding areas.  This place was perfect for us.  A self contained apartment with everything you need and gorgeous views across the lake.   We also loved that there were some great restaurants very close by.  The best was located right across the street!  Rodolfo made our stay perfect by answering my numerous emails and questions about things to do and places to eat.  From my first email correspondence with him, I could tell that I would be happy and feel very comfortable with the accommodations.  Thanks to Rodolfo, we had a very memorable stay in Bariloche.

We really enjoy the views to the lake. The owner is really kind and helpful. Stay at Balcon al Lago is your best option in Bariloche. You have also free access to the front beach which is quite and nice. Thanks Rodolfo for everything... we will come back soon!

We stayed at Balcon al Lago for a week in January, 2015 after a trip to Antarctica. With superb views and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind after hiking and sightseeing.  Rodolfo is a gracious and kind host who helped us find everything from romantic nearby restaurants to nature walks and scenic drives in the region.

As others have said, the views from the units out toward the lake are absolutely stunning! Though modestly furnished, the four apartments are spotlessly clean and comfortable, and you will not find a more attentive and sincere host anywhere than Rodolfo.  Nearby are nature walks, beaches, boat trips, groceries, small shops and a range of restaurants.

We've stayed at bacon al lago for 4 nights and days, which were one of the best so far on our trip through Argentina. The place is at 24 km from the centre of Bariloche but don't let that scare you. With bus 20 you can get to Bariloche easily, it comes and goes every 20 minutes. Also, just 30 minutes away is the harbour where many daytrips leave from. 

The views from the living room and the bedroom onto the lake are absolutely amazing! The cabin itself is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Now, the highlight of our stay was the owner, Rodolfo. This man knows what hospitality is and he will make you feel at home. We did not rent a car, which he found a bit weird, so he decided to drive us around for some sightseeing and even took us to the supermercado for some groceries. 

Another plus is the asado (barbecue), which you can use while enjoying the lakeview. Be sure to ask Rodolfo where to buy the best meat, he knows his business!

In all, we regret that we couldn't stay longer, so we hope to come back one day.
