Hotel New Crystal

From the moment we arrived at this small boutique style hotel we only received the best service from Elizabeth and her team. The pictures on Tripadvisor are outdated for a start. We had a modern and perfectly arranged room and en-suite. When we arrived we were told that our room had only finished being updated and we had a massive balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Overall the hotel is bright, clean and airy. To be honest we did have to send Elizabeth a list of items that we needed in our room such as extra pillows and a blanket as the evenings were slightly cooler due to the rain in September. But for Elizabeth, nothing gets in the way of her guests having the best stay and by the time that we got back from breakfast, not only was our room made up but everything that we asked for was done. So let’s talk food. The hotel is set back from the beach and you will need to do a 10 mins walk or 2 mins drive to the restaurant (lots of parking available). The restaurant is a fairly good size and it’s literally on the beach. Breakfast is served each day by Bruno - he writes nothing down and remembers everything. You can also have dinner at the restaurant (they specialise in fish and pasta dishes) and you get a discount when staying at the hotel. And that beach - it’s so beautiful and turquoise blue, clear water and clean but also very popular. Again if you are staying at the hotel the sun loungers are free. Everywhere else you will have to pay. In terms of location, the hotel is in the quieter part of as you enter from Sarande. The busy part is further into the town and is quite crowded with restaurants, bars and clubs. We preferred the option to visit there and come back to the relative calm of Hotel New Krystal. I really recommend that you stay at Hotel New Crystal and I know that when we do revisit Ksmail this hotel will be very hard to beat.
