The Owners were very friendly, the house has aesthetic furniture and the beds are so comfortable. 
We had a car and so could get fast to the beach (a little more than 1km until Livadhi beach, the house is up on a hill near the historic centre of the old town) and therefore come back in the afternoon for a little siesta and enjoy the tranquillity away from the heat. The beach, especially Livadhi was beautiful, the water is clear.
We recommend it.

Beautiful vacation

The  guesthouse location seems to be at the Beach, but it is not!! It is located 3.5 km from the Beach in Himare, way up into the mountains. 

We booked this hotel to stay in Himare at the beach, according to the location given on Booking.com. We tried to use the GPS coordinates to find the hotel, where they claim to be located. After searching through the entire town (Himare is not big...) and asking everybody around, we tried calling. We did not get an answer, and called booking.com helpline. After 15 min we received a call from the guesthouse, giving us the directions to the house. He claimed that GPS coordinates was very difficult in Albania, hence the position in Booking.com was not entirely correct. 

We did not want to stay up in the hills, and ended up paying for 1 penalty night due to late cancellation. This might be a nice place to stay if you have a car and want to stay up in the hills, but the fact that they claim to be on the beach calls for a poor rating.
