It’s an amazing place the staff is very nice and friendly.

We had a great time at Motsamai Lodge. It’s main attraction is the location and proximity to the city. You are only 5 minutes away from Bradfield Market and 10 minutes from downtown. The host were kind and the gateman would wash our car daily, it was part of the package.

Loved everything about this place but what made it so remarkable was the people who worked there. You were greeted every day by the groundskeepers, handymen, chefs, gatekeepers, and any other individual who worked at the Mosamai Guest Lodge. Every day we were prepared delicious meals and treated exceptionally well. There was free wifi, hot showers, laundry upon request, new linen and towels every day/every other day, meals 3 times a day, a pool, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. This place surpassed any expectations I had and the workers I truly consider family now. Would recommend this place any day!! 

The Motsamai lodge exceeded all of my expectations. The location was safe and easily accessible from downtown Bulawayo. The lodge was clean, organized, and just so beautiful! The food was also safe, clean, and so delicious! The staff was my favorite part. Brian was so kind and helpful, and he soon became a wonderful friend of our team :) The other staff members were also so friendly and exceptional. I’m so grateful that the Lord provided such an amazing place for my team to stay during our time in Zimbabwe. We hope to come back next year! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We love you Motsamai Lodge! Thank you for making our experience far beyond our expectations 💛

Great place to stay very safe and secure. It is very quiet great views and experience stunning sunsetsLinen and towels might need to be updated they have seen better days

They stay was great. We had to wait a bit for our room to be ready at check in, the lady at reception was fine. The two gentleman at reception were very good, even helped us organize tours and excursions. Location good, about 45min walk to the center, but had to take a taxi after dark for safety. Room was very nice and clean, WiFi worked good.

Spent one night there, my wife and I wish it was longer.
Rooms are spacious, bright and clean, the gardens lovely.
Good area, close to restaurants and not far from the CBD.
Only area where there could be improvement is if they had a bar

The best lodgenin town close to the CBD Hillside and Bradfield Shopping Centre. The rooms are classy big comfortable, surroundings are beautiful well maintained as for the meals they are excellent a well worthy place to visit over and over again

BEST LODGE EVER!!!

absolutely amazing!

Arguably the best boutique hotel in Bulawayo. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing, spacious, very clean and quite modern, equipped with almost everything you need. Entertainment, coffee station, bar fridge, spacious bathroom. Cherry on top is the fast wifi!!!! The rooms overlook a very beautiful garden. Friendly staff that pay special attention to ones needs. Am lactose intolerant and they made sure not to include dairy in my meals. However the food needs a bit of work, though beautifully presented. The menu is broad. You are spoilt for choice!

Great stay, great staff

This place was recommended by a friend of mine as i hadn't been to Bulawayo for a number of years.  There are 3 different standards of rooms to choose from. Me and my friend were upgraded on arrival from standard rooms to the deluxe rooms at no extra cost. The prices are per room and not per person which i found to be very helpful. My ensuite bathroom had a massive bathtub as well as shower. I liked that part the best. 
The breakfast plate (english breakfast) was well prepared and very filling. 
The lodge is in a quiet, leafy residential area of town.  My only complaint is that the rooms dont have any hair dryers which might be a possible problem for some.

Bulawayo's best kept secret

Our family had a destination wedding in Bulawayo. Many family members stayed at Motsamai Lodge. The accommodations are great. The staff is beyond expectations. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Great food and full of integrity. I had a lost wallet returned after my departure within hours just leaving a recount of my experience. Thanks again Motsamai, and all the best.

Destination Wedding

One of my sisters stayed at Motsamai last year and she couldn’t stop raving about it. I discovered for myself that she wasn’t exaggerating her glowing reviews! It was super clean and comfortable, with a modern feel and serious bang for your buck. I really liked the double sink in the bathroom, as well as the general design of the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, and it didn’t take long for the water to heat up. I could have slept all day in that bed, with its warm blankets and plush pillows. The WiFi connection was really strong (something not to be taken for granted!). The kitchen staff graciously accommodated our request for breakfast, at a time when most hotels would have stopped serving that meal! We would have stayed longer if not for the lodge being booked out for the week for a conference! I highly recommend Motsamai, and hope to return someday!

Great price for a great space & impeccable service

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the breakfast especially the mushroom. Thanks to sekuru he cooks delicious dishes. We just lacked some cooling in the room as there's no fan or air conditioning because sometimes it was really hot. Other than that everything was fantastic. We will surely come again.

This is a neat and well maintained guest lodge. The grounds and ambiance of this place were delightful day and night. My room was always clean and comfortable with daily maintenance. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and hospitable. The food although tasty and well prepared lacked variety during my 13 night stay. Thanks to everyone at Motsamai  for making my stay a delight.

The place to stay while in Bulawayo!

Upon arrival the desk clerk was asking for me among our group of 22, since I had booked from home. The room was available in a matter of minutes.  Any request during our stay was handled with much haste and a pleasant smile from all staff. The room cleaning staff during the day took every effort to ensure a spotless environment. The staff always seemed to be willing to assist in any matter, and will literally run to complete their task.
