Easy and friendly people to help with check-in

Clean rooms and was a nice quiet place to stay

Very clean especially the bathroom. Quiet and friendly.

Property is older but it is clean and in safe area.  Above all else, the owners have invested in new mattresses and great bedding.  Very comfortable.  Last, frontdesk staff was fantastic.

The room was spacious.  Very clean.  Staff was very friendly and professional.  It seemed to me that the room was recently refurbished.  I didn't like the TV though.  It was a streaming service.  It made me realize that I will stay with the cable service that I have at home.  On the whole, it was a good experience.  Oh, yes, it was right next to Denny's.  I would stay there again if in the area.

A rustic look, tree trunks for awning supports.  The room was small but exactly what we needed.  Comfy bed, bathtub/shower, TV, microwave, fridge, cold AC.  Manuel was friendly and helpful.

It was clean and quiet, reasonable pricing as well

Checking in was a breeze! The person at the front office was so friendly and helpful. They were a joy to interact with and I really appreciated it.

The owner / proprietor was so accommodating and I woke him up at 1:00 AM to check in and he was such a good sport about it and the next day he bought me a Coke and thanked me for staying there. Now there are much fancier places to stay in the area but you are made to feel like family for the entire stay and you cant get that anywhere else!

It was very clean, they have done a good job with restoring the rooms. The first room we were in the mattress was a hard, so they put us in another where the mattress was still rather firm but not bad, however it was right against the main road so lots of traffic noise.  Outside of those two issues the place was very clean  and well put together and very nice.

It was so cute and cozy. Bothering was very nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. Heating worked splendidly, and we felt very safe the whole time. Great budget friendly option and we’d definitely stay again. Plus they offered free coffee so who can say no to that:)Floor was a little dirty (no carpets) and one of our towels had a smudge on it. Other than that, our stay was absolutely perfect.Just wore shoes/socks and used a different towel out of the multiple that were offered in the bathroom. Front desk guy was super nice and helpful. Also a great location!Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly option to spend the day in Payson.

Definitely recommend

Wife thought the room was cute. It is smallish. Like 200 sf ish. Price was very good. Location also good. 5 minutes to Walmart, other shopping and/or various resturants. Only complaint is the thermostat. Heater works great but its on or off. Room gets too hot unless you hop out of bed and turn it off. Then too cold until you hop out and turn it back on... This was true on both of my visits In Jan 2025 and in 2 different rooms. Despite that I will stay here again next year. I did not ask the staff so maybe it was operator error... Staff was responsive and great to deal with during check in check out.

We LOVE the new owner! She is amazing! We stopped in on our way through town and asked about reservations for our anniversary and she was amazing! Saved us the honeymoon suite, waved at us every morning and was always polite. Rooms are clean and super affordable. We will definitely stay here again over the bigger chain hotels!

ABSOLUTELY BEST way to stay in Payson

There are many choices to stay in Payson, but in terms of the amount of service you get per price, Budget Inn and Suites is absolutely the best. 

You get a clean room and nearby restaurants. The owner/manager is great. They try their best to make your stay an enjoyable experience.

I cannot ask for more at half of price of any other motels in this town.

Best budget motel in Payson

There are not a lot of amenities for $59.00 a night but the bed was as good as a Marriott, it was quiet, Motorcycle friendly, Denny's next door and a good Mexican" El Rancho a block away. The owner went out of her way to make sure everything was ok. The room is small but adequate. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again for this price. Might be the bargain of Payson.

A very simple, in expensive, but clean hotel for the price

I found this place accidentally having had a terrible day- after my cars transmission went kaput on the 40 W- I was towed 90 miles to this hotel- and the Owner (Alan) was so accommodating letting the tow truck drop my car here while I tried to find a repair shop.

The rooms are very clean with very comfy beds- great Wi- Fi and the TV has an amazing channel selection.
The atmosphere is very quit, with beautiful trees surrounding the hotels, and just a few yards from pubs and restaurants .
The owner has an amazing attitude and told me he wants his guests to have a comfortable safe and quiet experience, he does not tolerate noisy wild people or dogs.

How refreshing - I will certainly be back here again.

Hidden Gem- Awesome Place
