It was a nice stay and clean cabin. Janet the host was very friendly. Nothing much to do in Moose pass but Seward was just 30 mins away. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was great!  Very comfortable bed. Best coffee of the whole trip. Nice folks too.

Cozy cabin in a private setting which was comfortable and rustic. Wifi was limited but it was otherwise perfectly suitable for a cabin in the woods. Out of the many accommodations we had in Alaska this was one of the more memorable at a reasonable price.

The cabins are very charming and rustic, yet equipped with all basic amenities. The beds were comfortable. The owner took all steps to make sure we were comfortable. While the heater wasn't working, she made sure to make arrangements for a temporary one quickly. Would recommend the place.

Cute basic, clean log cabin.  Simple but very cozy and comfortable.  Coffee maker, microware and small refrigerator and mugs provided.  Next to a small creek.  40 min from Seward.

i like the cabin decor. I felt like staying in a second home awayn from home. , The ammenities and the clean overall condition of the unit. Lovely place

Delightful basic lodging for families or couples.  Just down the road from Seward but worth the drive.

Was a great and affordable place to stay after a day in Seward. Restaurants are walkable, cabin is quaint.

Super easy to access, cabin was clean and quiet, owners were helpful.    The entire area around the cabin and town is absolutely gorgeous

We were looking for a cozy cabin property and that’s exactly what this is. Although it is an older property, it was clean and comfortable. Moose Pass is a tiny place but there is a nice little store and coffee shop. There was a restaurant in town but it was not open. Take something with you to eat or carefully check hours of the small shops and also take some plates or bowls if you have your own food. I would stay there again.

We had a nice stay at the cabin. It was a rustic style cabin, but very very clean. Beautiful area. There was a microwave and coffee maker in the small kitchen area, and they had things like paper towels, coffee filters, and silverware to use. Check in was at the “office” which seemed like where the owners lived, but you could check I at the front porch area. They were kind and helpful with anything you would need. It was a great location close enough to Seward to go there for dinner, but we could also go to other areas for the day. We would stay here again next time we go back!

The cabin was comfortable. It was 'quaint' / 'rustic', but still suited our purposes.Wi-Fi is available.  There is no CATV or cellphone coverage.While the location is farther from Seward than I thought when I booked the cabin, it was not a big problem.  It is about 30 minutes to town.  That was with significant road construction going on, which included periodic road closures.

Small, Quaint Cabins

The cabin was perfect for our family of four. It’s an easy and beautiful 30 mile drive to activities in Seward.  The room included coffee, a microwave, and mini fridge plus dining table and chairs in the room. The kids had their own twin beds and we enjoyed the Queen bed in the upstairs loft. Having a whole place to ourselves for a couple days was a nice change of pace on our weeklong trip around Alaska. We also enjoyed a pancake breakfast with the owner one morning - just be sure to give them a heads up the day before and let them know when you’ll be by. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Seward in the future.

Very quaint and clean.  We had the Papa Bear and it looks as if they have raised the floor several inches so the ceiliniare low and you need to squat in the shower to get your hair wet.  There is no blow dryer.  Would be nice to have hot cocoa for those of us who don't drink coffee There is a nice shared fire pit and covered tables .  The hosts were very nice.  .

Good budget-value stay. Not luxurious and a bit dated, but the cabin was nice and large.  Comfortable beds and clean.  Nice thick towels are always a bonus.  Says mini kitchen, but it was only a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. So the food I bought to cook on a stove went to waste. Wouldn't stay with small children since the loft area is not safe for them. We enjoyed our stay here.  Happy Travels.

Great location and value!

Has a very rustic feel to it. I was alittle disappoint that the outside common area with the bbq grill for cooking and fire pit was unavailable. The cabin sloped down on one side so you didnt want to put anything that could spill on the counter top.  Check in was friendly and fast as was checking out.  At check in i was told i could use the kitchen inside where they live since they hadnt been able to get the bbq grill common area set up yet. However i wasnt totally sure if its their kitchen or only for the guests .The living quarters were nice and spacious and clean. Hot water for shower was wonderful. It was a cold weekend which meant cabin was cold so the hot shower did wonders. Besides the common area not being set up the only real issue i have is the price we paid even tho we didnt have use of the facilities. It was quiet for the most part except for the traffic on the hyway . I can see how this could be an ok place to stay later in the season. Bring spider spray. Im assuming the time of season had to do with the amount of spiders .

Too early in the season

Property is nice with a small stream running past the papa bear cabin. Cabin was a bit drafty though there were heaters there for our use.  The showerhead was placed rather low for my husband and son who are both about 6'1" and could barely manage to shower in the small space with it at that level.   Muffins and pancakes were available on request to the hosts for breakfast from 7-10 they said that can be brought back to your cabin or eaten in the space by their kitchen, but you need to allow time for them to make them as they are not readily available due to the small number of cabins.  When I made the reservation on expedia, I failed to change the number of persons to 5 for our family and did try to contact the facility by email about the oversight when I realized it, but did not get a response and then had to be charged for the extra person fees upon check-in.  There was a coffee maker and mugs, paper towels, and plastic silverware available which was very helpful.  I did pack some paper bowls for oatmeal/cereal in the mornings for those not eating pancakes, which turned out to be very helpful.

What an amazing place to stay! These little cabins are just off the main road in Moose Pass so they are easy to find and access. They are clean, quaint, and very enjoyable. Moose Pass was an great little town. The restaurant down the street served delicious food and the float plane tour company was awesome! If you have a day or two to stay in Moose Pass, we highly recommend it. It's close to Seward and more hiking than you could ever do in one visit! We will definitely go back someday!!

What a gem we found on Hotels.com during our stay in the Seward, AK area!  This is a log cabin.  It is not luxurious but it is more than comfortable.  Everything was in the room that we needed during our stay.  It was only for one night.  We especially enjoyed the manager of the property.  She let us know in advance that we would need more towels and DVDs (since there was no cable).  She made us pancakes and coffee for breakfast while telling us about her Alaskan adventures.  This place is just really special to stay at if you want a little outdoors but the convenience of a hotel.
