Swan's Nest Hotel

We were invited to a surprise birthday party and a stay overnight at Swans Hotel, Stratford-on-Avon. We arrived at reception where we were greeted by a lovely and charming lady (Tracey). Her welcoming greeting, her efficient and pleasant handling of our three booked rooms (booked by our host) was efficient. Then she saw one of us was walking with a stick, so she offered if a room on the ground floor would be better. This was gratefully accepted, and after a little search Tracey managed to get one and even apologised that it was a little walk but closer to the car park :o)). It was not a long walk at all and the room was a luxury - massive size bed, clean, most comfortable. Thank you most sincerely Tracey. The surprise party was held at the hotel's Le Pierre Bistro. We were quite a big group - the treatment and handling of our order which some were pre-booked and some not, and some had changed their mind............was dealt with by a charming young man called Oliver who remained calm, pleasant, efficient, and always with a smile. Oliver looked after us with great efficiency and he was always there as soon as we needed either help or explanation. He attended to all of us practically single handed and made sure we had all that we wanted / needed. Thank you so much Oliver for the care and attention you have each and everyone of us. Keep always being you - well done!!! The food was excellent - our heartfelt compliments to the Chef and team. All dishes were cooked and presented with great attention. Definitely worth a come-back for more to try the other dishes that were enjoyed. I had the humous for starter - yummy yummy!!
