Dunbius BB

My husband and I stayed here as the start of our NC500, after a few nights in Edinburgh. It was our first experience of a B&B / guest house and we were both apprehensive about the thought of effectively staying in someone’s home! We really needn’t have worried, they were exactly the right level of welcoming but allowing space. Our room had the best views, of the Dornoch Firth and it was lovely and peaceful. Their garden, was also immaculate! The tea & coffee facilities also well received. The room was practically spotless from a cleanliness perspective. The bed was also very comfortable. We walked into the ‘town’ centre and ate at Platform 1864 after asking for recommendations and enjoyed this a lot. We made breakfast pre-orders and took advantage of the ‘breakfast special’ which was a smoked salmon omelette as well as the full cooked breakfast option. Eating in the conservatory the next morning felt pretty special. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area!
