Really lovely friendlly place. Train and bus station so near. Its easy toget around especially if you dont drive.

Wonderful hosts, great accommodation.  Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, our hosts were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was superb, great choice and freshly prepared for us. The location was ideal for our needs. We can strongly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Gwyndra House, large, bright bedroom & excellent shower. Excellent breakfast. Adelaide, Steve, Vicky and Mike were superb hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again and would recommend Gwyndra House.

Very friendly hosts. Our breakfasts were very tasty and good quality. Super comfortable bed. We would have no hesitation in staying here again should we be in the area.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and bright. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size too with an amazing shower. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of options. Loved that I could choose what to have. It is very conveniently located and within easy walking distance of the train station. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is within easy reach of St Austell, Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and very reasonably priced.The hosts were helpful and informative when we asked some questions, breakfast was great and there were some nice touches like the recycling bins and a customers fridge in the hallway. Also loved the sun terrace on the roof.In the room itself the shower was particularly impressive with immediate hot water and lots of space. However we only had bath towels rather than sheets which were not very absorbent. The beds also were not that comfortable and you can hear the springs popping when you lay on them. The tea/coffee tray also could have been more substantive.The biggest problem we had however was the radiator  which could not be controlled from the room. On the first night it was on full blast on arrival when it had been 24C during the day and we had to ring down to get them to see to it which to their credit they sorted straight away. However on the second night we had the same problem, so this time we just opened all the windows!All in all a reasonable stay at a reasonable price.

Room was spacious, but lacking a couple of items to make the stay easier.  Full length mirror would have been ideal, a dresser table with vanity mirror. The towels were somewhat thread bare and as for bath towels, on the small side, but the shower was good, plenty of power. Had to clean out the ceiling extractor fan as it was clogged up with built up dust (it won't work efficiently if blocked up!) A little attention to detail would not go a miss. St Ives

We found Gwyndra House to be very comfortable, clean and ideally located close to the train and bus station to explore this region of Cornwall. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and made us feel very welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend Gwyndra House as an excellent place to stay.

Excellent location for exploring

A B&B that I will definitely stay again whenever I visit St. Austell. Warm, cozy and great location (it only takes less than 5 mins walking distance from St. Austell station, 10 mins walk to town centre) it's like going home as owner was friendly and warm,  deco was warm and lovely, and most of all, home cooked and wide choice of breakfast was magnificent. I believe it is the worthiest place to stay with all these and amazingly low pricing charged. Big thumb up and highly recommended.

Perfect B&B

Amazing place to stay, great location, wonderful places to visit and hosts were amazing and incredibly helpful. One thing to note they only have one dog friendly room, so make sure you book that one; we did by accident, which was great (Charlestown room - by the way). Eden project is only 12 mins drive away. Charlestown great for food, try The Boathouse...... Loads of dog friendly beaches and restaurants.

Absolutely excellent!Great welcome from owners whom truly care about customer service and quality.  Tasty breakfast cooked to order.  Lovely large room as good as most 4/5* hotels!Free car parking.  Close to local attractions including the Eden Project, beaches, Lost Hardens of Heligan, Charlestown and more.

Awesome Guest House - recommended unreservedly.

Spent a wonderful week of Summer vacation at Gwyndra House this past Summer. Everything was lovely and in order. I've experienced a lot of B&B's, and this was certainly in the top. The Gwyndra House host is super sweet and helpful.Breakfast was lovely - and I think I actually tried all the options, each one very nice. Would certainly recommend for either a few days, or a short week as we did.

Fab B&B Experience with a Lovely Host!

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. The hosts are very friendly, help with recommendations for dinner, laundry facilities nearby, etc. The B&B is within walking distance to the train/bus and many restaurants in town.Only negative is you have to climb up and down outside stairs once you’re checked in.

Really nice place to stay, friendly service and would happily stay again, the St Ives room was a fantastic size and the terrace entrance/exit provides flexibility to come and go as you like without causing disturbance, breakfast was delicious and we found the pre-order arrangement for breakfast most useful.The bed was a bit uncomfortable for my own taste in terms of the mattress on it but each to their own.Literally a minutes walk from St Austell train station which was a great help on our trip.
