Wonderful hospitality, location, food and prices. The B&B is well organised, homely, and pretty. What more could we hope for in a B&B in Wales. Hope to stay in touch - and wishing you all the best for your next chapter.

I was staying overnight as I was presenting in Chapel lawn so a relaxing atmosphere is important, and I found that here. Mein host was wonderful and made one feel at home rather than at a B&B, wonderful conversation and eager to accommodate my requirements. Excellent food. Room was fabulous and as an extra bonus two happy dogs made the stay even more enjoyable. Happily recommend.

Lovely place. Room little on small size but that's expected in an old building. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable. The owner Gill, was a lovely lady and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. 

We booked the room with te private room, the room was good and the bathroom great. Very big bathroom with a great bath, but it was apposite the landing (I knew that because it was stated when I booked it, but it was though a little uncomfortable to go to and from the bathroom in the night when you have to go to the toilet and when you're having a bath...) Indeed lovely homemade Welsh Cakes in the room upon arrival (but no chocolates?!).
I was very dissapointed with the welcoming of the host... when we arrived she was already busy on her phone trying to book us in (and the payment taken), even before she asked how we are and explained everything about the b&b! i didn't find that very welcoming... it was like when the payment is ok, you can come in... That was really pitty we found for a b&b.
Breakfast was good, buffet was limited (no fresh fruit or fresh jams like we had in many other places we stayed), you can choose the night before what you had for cooked breakfast. My husband liked the Full Welsh Breakfast (with the hot sausage!) and I liked my scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, but it was a very small piece of smoked salmon and just one half of a muffin which was a bit poor I thought...
Location near Brecon but altough it was quiet a drive home in the dark after diner in town.
Good place to stay but there where a few minus points.

cheery room red and cream with lovely freize on wall, nice décor, welsh cakes in room to have with cup of tea. friendly lady, nice breakfast and peaceful area even though its on a road we had no noise from it. great shower, very nice bathroom. everything spotless
