Hambleton Hall

We have visited Hambleton before for lunch service and decided as this is a special year for my partner that we would go full out and have overnight stay with dinner and all that came with it.Lotus room on the second floor ( lift available all be it on the small side )provided excellent views across Rutland water and most amenities that you would expect for this type of establishment, excellent decoration, super comfy large bed but the one thing you might expect, tea / coffee in room facilities is not provided. Large walk in shower in marble en-suite and full turn down provided during the dinner service, replacing all used towels. The 3 course a la carte dinner followed champagne and canapés in the drawing room was served by attentive but not overbearing staff and we felt that the wine flight served to match our individual meal choices was as we would have expected. A full range of cooked fresh breakfast items available alongside all healthy options from a self serve layout within the dining room provided a fitting end to our celebratory stay, would we come again ? I think that’s a resounding yes and all I would say is that our experience matched the expenditure.
