Glendower House - B&B

We had an excellent experience staying at Glendower House. Our room was spacious, well decorated and clean, with views of exmoor. Breakfast was outstanding,  great care had been taken to provide a variety of breakfast options. Compliments to the chef! Great check out time at 11a.m. Peter is a superb host, being attentive to our needs and providing a relaxed, friendly stay. I would highly recommend staying at Glendower House.

We stayed early Sept and had a lovely quiet room on the 1st floor overlooking the back garden.  Our windows could be opened so fresh air.  The room was well presented with a small fridge that was refilled with fresh milk and water every day.  The shower, towels and toiletries were great.  
BREAKFAST !! What can we say??  Service was amazing,  plenty of tea/coffee, cooked to perfection and muesli that was perfect (according to my partner!).  Gluten free cereal and toast available.   
Parking was available either on the road in front or in the private carpark behind.  
Minehead main street is about 5 minutes walk away and the sea front/steam railway 8 minutes.

Our family have been hosted by Peter and Katrina at this beautiful guest house for many years and it continues to deliver the goods.  Welcoming, friendly and well maintained, whether old friends or new, you’l be guaranteed a very warm welcome.

The rooms are spacious and well decorated with very comfortable beds but the best thing about staying here (apart from the lovely hosts of course!) is Katrina’s brilliant breakfasts - all locally sourced produced and cooked just how you like it!

There is nowhere better to stay on the north west Somerset coast.

Lovely stay at Glendower House,we have stayed here several times before.Room very clean and comfortable.Tea and coffee tray very good with good biscuits.Small fridge in room.Toiletries provided in bathroom.Clean towels provided every day.The breakfast selection is outstanding.The owners,Peter and Katryna,are excellent,very friendly and welcoming.Glendower House is a very short distance from Minehead town centre .Highly recommended.

Great stay at Glendower.  Lovely owners and Peter super helpful.  Great full English breakfast.  Glendower is very centrally located near The Avenue (main shopping street) and the beach.  Great place to anchor yourself for any walking trip or train journseys on the steam railway.

Another fantastic stay at the Glendower House B&B.  Rooms are beautifully decorated with fresh crisp linen.  Each room has a fridge and fresh milk is provided every day together with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.

Breakfasts are cooked to order and are lovely.  Peter and Katryna go above and beyond in making your stay really special.

Each time we return, we are given a very friendly and sincere welcome.  We will be returning, as we have done for the past 8 years. 

We stayed at Glendower House for 5 days and I have to stay every aspect of our stay was fantastic. 
Peter the host was superb, exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts were excellent quality and the scrambled eggs in particular are outstanding.
The area is a few minutes walk from the seafront and shops and a great base to then go off to nearby towns and destinations. 
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful B&B and will definitely be back again. 

A single comfortable room ,quiet accommodation a superb breakfast ,close to the centre of town with easy access to bus stops .Free parking . The host was helpful and friendly .
A Victorian style house away from the bustling centre of town and close enough for the amenities of Minehead .
Mine was a walking holiday , I needed a secure base close to bus stops and restaurants this place filled the bill .
Nice to find a single room at a reasonable price .

B and B is just a few minutes from the main shopping area, the seafront and the steam railway.  Very clean, comfortable bedroom with a mini fridge.  Excellent breakfast options and very good hosts.  Good value too.

Wonderful stay and experience.

Central and quiet

We felt very welcome.  Everything is so well thought out and presented - crisp white linen, a wonderful breakfast, even real fresh milk in a fridge in the room so we could make proper tea in the morning.  

It was a lovely big room, with comfy bed and nice powerful shower.

There is a car park, but we didn't need it as we could park in the street outside with no problem.   It is just a short walk to the sea front, to the steam railway, and to the local main street with pubs and restaurants.

Just how a guest house ought to be

Stayed overnight en route from Cornwall to Bedfordhshire. Once again received  a very warm welcome from the host. Peter.Very good location,in a quiet road but only a couple of minutes walk into town. Was able to park my car in the road outside the B&B.Very comfortable ,quiet and clean room.Breakfast was first class. A good selection of local produce and a special mention for the sausage. I really can't fault this Guest House.Many thanks for the hospitality and welcome.

3rd overnight stay,

We spent a week here . We had been to this hotel before and wrote this one down as would go back again.  Which we did.  They are lovely people ,could not do enough for you. The rooms were spotless.  So clean and a really big room.  Everything you need. Hairdryer fridge with fresh milk in.   Bottles of water biscuits and toiletries. Peter serves up a lovely breakfast. And is really nice to talk to. So much choice to pick from. There is on street parking or a car park at the back. Our stay there was really nice. We will be going again.
