The accomodation was exceptional. Excellent location and perfect for visiting Lancaster University.

Very nicely furnished and comfortable B&B. The breakfast was superb: locally sourced, freshly cooked; just the right portion size. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Very easy to get too off the M6 motorway.

Lovely farmhouse in a quiet country area, looked freshly decorated and had attractive solid oak matching furniture. Helpful, friendly hosts and a super breakfast with lots of choice.

We had a  lovely stay, 3 of us in 1 single and 1 twin room. The rooms were spotless and well equiped with kettle, towels, hairdryer.  The hosts were amazing and very welcoming with great communication ahead of our stay.  The breakfast was very well cooked and there was a lot of choice.  Lovely touches for the room  like cookies and fresh milk for your tea/coffee and wide selection of teas.  Very peaceul location in the Lancashire countryside with good parking.   As well as the lovely rooms there is also a really nice lounge you can use.  We highly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast.  
Great location 12 mins south of Lancaster park and ride, 10 minutes north of Wyrssdale park wedding venue and 5 mins away from J33 of M6.

Our hosts were very friendly.  They gave us an excellent option for supper, and provided a wonderful breakfast!!  Our apartment was perfect!!  Comfortable bed... kitchen area... dining area... and a bathroom with an excellent shower!!!

Stayed for one night following a wedding, the hosts were excellent.Rooms were clean, warm and in good condition.Breakfast was pretty special, freshly made to order.Biscuits in the room were very nice, gutted I only ate one lol.

Great stay in the lancashire countryside close to Lancaster and Wyresdale park

This was an ideal place to stay while waiting for the ferry, so relaxing in the Lancashire countryside. A good recommendation for an evening meal. Loved the idea of the fridge on the landing to keep the milk for tea/coffee making as well as water (one bottle for each room). The Lancaster Canal is about a quarter of a mile away and offers relaxing walks along its towpath. The accommodation is just minutes away from the M6 and near the county town of Lancaster, itself an interesting place to explore.

Overall the stay was good, the room was small but generally clean, although the main light fitting had not seen a duster in some time. The bed was ok, but i would have preferred a firmer mattress. I marked them down on eco friendliness because when i asked about plugging in my hybrid car I was told it would cost £20, the cost to fully charge the battery is under £5. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Ann and Steven were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent!  Comfortable bed, nicely updated bathroom with large walk-in shower.  Tea and coffee in our room. We were in town for our daughter's graduation from Lancaster U and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.  Definitely recommend this B&B.

We were looked after at this beautiful B&B by Steve and Anne, it is a comforting and warm place to stay in rural Lancaster. Rooms were comfortable and homely and breakfast was fab! Was lovely to meet Peggy the friendly resident doggy too! I would highly recommend staying here, Steve and Anne went out of their way to provide vegan options as my friend is vegan, thank you so much for this. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Lancaster area, I would highly recommend staying here where you receive a warm and friendly welcome and it feels like home away from home. Comforting and Homely, a home away from home.

Stayed at this beautiful farmhouse 2 nights B & B 8th and 9th October 2021 whilst attending a wedding. What a lovely stay, warm and friendly family, great service, lovely clean room overlooking the surrounding countryside, close to country pubs. Breakfast was amazing and nothing too much trouble, the lovely owner Stephen even drove us free of charge to the wedding venue! Would highly reccommend this place!

Our twin room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Small but stylish shower room.There was a kettle in the room with tea, coffee and biscuits, and fresh milk was in a fridge out on the landing.Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.Hosts were friendly and helpful.Recommended and would stay again.

I was travelling with my daughter to London from Scotland and found this B & B to be the perfect place to break the journey.  The welcome we received along with general comfort, cleanliness and excellent breakfast choices were second to none.  I particularly liked having access to a communal refrigerated cabinet for guests which provided fresh milk and water for each room.

My daughter and I received a warm welcome and given information about local eateries.  Our room was tastefully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable.  Each room had access to a refrigerated cabinet on the landing containing marked bottles of milk and water for our use.  Lovely toiletries were also provided.  There was nothing not to like.

The B&B was recommended by a friend who had used it when daughter was at Lancaster University. My own daughter was starting at same University so booked.  
We arrived late afternoon and received a warm, friendly welcome after a long journey from Kent. We had a twin bedroom with en-suite shower. The room had lovely views across to Bowland Fells in the distance. A small fridge on landing contained individually room numbered small bottles of milk for tea or coffee, which was a really nice thought. Our hosts recommended a village pub, The Manor,  a short drive away for dinner. which suited our purposes. Beds were very comfortable and the view in the morning was improved even more by the sun rising. Plenty of Covid strategies in place to prevent guests from mingling to the extent that the lounge had been turned into a 2nd breakfast room so guests could eat seperately. The breakfast menu had a variety of options. I chose the full English, which was hot and tasty. The only downside to our stay was the limited breakfast choice for my vegan daughter, who opted for mushrooms on toast. The hosts were very accommodating in finding non dairy spread for the toast, but the addition of a few more vegan friendly foods would go a long way... perhaps avocado on toast or vegan sausages? Definately value for money in a pleasant location and would be happy to return when visiting daughter.
