Breakfast was Awesome. Staff are Excellent.

One of the nicest premier inns I have ever stayed in. It was a stop over with work before heading your way London. So easy to get to from Edinburgh on the train.

The room was so great and the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

We spoke with Adele throughout our stay who helped with anything we needed. She is phenomenal and a great part of why we enjoyed our stay so much also.

Thanks so much will definitely book again :)

The team were really helpful with rooms and service. One of them went out of the way to sort us a taxi as there were none available. Had a great stay! And late checkout, felt safe and helpful staff, a would stay again was real so ably cheap. Very laid back and helpful! 10/10

Easter break fast with the family was brilliant. The kids enjoyed getting a little chocolate egg for a treat after their breakfast. Teresa was very pleasant and professional. Couldn’t do anymore for us. Anything running low was topped up immediately.  Will definitely be back.

The personal was really helpful. They reserved for our big group a space for breakfast in the restaurant. Even on Easter they offered to the kids Easter eggs. They were always checking if the food was OK and enough for all the guests.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, they even managed to get us in early so we could get ready! Can’t really comment on the carvery next door as we didn’t eat there due to us being at the wedding. We also woke up too late to stop for breakfast but the staff we met seemed really nice.

The Breakfast Room Hostess, Theresa, was such a joy to meet and the most helpful person we've met since we left Belfast.  She wisely suggested we not to drive to Edinburgh, because of the traffic & parking problems; & suggested we take the train & then gave us the information we needed to get to the train; which also allowed my husband time to relax and enjoy the ride, since he's been driving since we got to the UK.  The next morning we met another couple who had made the mistake of driving & just validated what we'd found out.  That bit of advice and another comfortable room with good food for breakfast has sold us on Premier Inns.

Great bed good sleep . extra clean.quiet place . beautiful breakfast.great atmosphere .great friends there to talk with .the disappointment was the salmon crouton mail course at Toby Carvery . little salmon in it .of course not your fault.they said they only bought it in not cooked and prepared by the chef

Helpful People at Premier Inn Bathgate

Really enjoyed our stay. All the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offered was very good and we felt value for money. Room was clean and comfortable and there wasn’t much noise during the night.

Only slight issue we had was getting my wife in and out of the bathroom in her wheelchair. Found the threshold to be rather high.

‘The Porridge Queen’ 

I’ve never left a review in my life, however I feel compelled to do so this morning. 

I play the guitar for a living, and with that comes a lot of travelling. I’d say over the last 15 years of touring in the U.K. I’ve stayed in hundreds of Premier Inns. 
 The thing I love the most about Premier Inns (at least until now, that is) is that they don’t change that much. There must be only a handful of variables throughout all the rooms in all the premier inns in the country. For example, you have the ones with the washroom door that doubles up as the toilet door; I called it the ‘washroom’ rather than a ‘bathroom’ because the ones with that particular door configuration never have baths in them. I like those ones. You have the ones with sexy Purple back lights behind the bed or the ones with Purple leather bed heads. And you have the ones with the ceramic sinks that are too shallow to get my water bottle under, or the weird sinks/worktops that seem to be made of a single mould of some sort of epoxy. My point being, it’s always familiar. And, if you’re a bit of a saddo like me, as you walk down the corridor to find your room, you’ll get a little rush of excitement as you wonder to yourself “Will I get the sexy purple lights? Will I get a bath or just a shower? Will I be able to fill my water bottle up in the sink?…”. 

However, there’s one thing that never seems to change - the Premier Inn porridge is always crap. 
Not everyone realises that you can order porridge with your continental breakfast. Well you can; and it’s crap. But for some unknown reason, I do it anyway. I’ve eaten hundreds of bowls of premier Inn porridge.  I eat porridge most days when I’m not staying in hotels too; homemade, to what I’d consider to be a pretty high standard of porridge. But today, a wonderful lady called Susan - working at Premier Inn Livingston, made me a bowl of Porridge that I can honestly say was the greatest bowl of porridge I’ve ever eaten in my life. 
 Susan took my order and went into the kitchen, appearing again only a few minutes later, walking over to me a beaming smile and a bowl of what I can only describe as life-changing grub. At first glance I was stunned at the consistency of the porridge. Usually it comes out looking more like a bowl of Horlicks with some lumpy stuff at the bottom. But this was stunning. It looked glorious. I mean, when has a bowl of porridge ever been described as looking glorious?! Well, it was. I added golden syrup to it and wolfed it down in the time it took my colleague to refill his glass with more orange juice. 
 I thanked Susan afterwards and told her how good I thought it was. She kindly told me her secret to making it; which I was very grateful for. A secret which I’m not prepared to give-away here. Instead, you’ll just have to go in and ask her yourself. Do yourself a favour when you’re there and ask for a bowl of ‘Susan’s Porridge’. You will not be disappointed.

Greatest Porridge of my life

Very good value for money, staff friendly, no issue leaving bags as check in was not open, rooms clean with tea and coffee facilities, Bayliss and Harding soap and shower gel and a  good variety of food for breakfast, both continental and cooked.
