Such a lovely, homey, friendly little pub. Stopped in a few times while we stayed on Mull and enjoyed its historic character and charm, great prices on pints and drams, and cheerful local scene. Lots of tables outside; very dog-friendly; the steak pie was really good. Shoutout to the bartender Simon who offered such a warm welcome! At the risk of sounding like a tourist cliché, this place made us feel like we had an “authentic” Scottish pub experience.

We ate here during a recent stay on Isle of Mull. The atmosphere in the bar is great with a mix of locals and visitors. The barman cannot do more to make the experience unique! Positive I swear!  The fish and chips were amazing and Mum had the chicken coupons! Great food, great value and we will be back!

So glad we didn't get influenced by some of the negative reviews we read! We were given a very warm and friendly welcome. It was really busy but we got a table to sit down with our dog. We decided to order some food, I had scampi and my husband the fish. Both meals arrived promptly,  hot and very tasty with chips, tartare sauce and garden peas. The atmosphere was great, yes the place could do with a bit of TLC but I suppose it goes with the old rustic look. Nice little stop, full of locals but also visitors. 

We were a group of work colleagues working in Mull all week. We chose to eat out of our hotel on our last night and Craignure Inn was recommended to us by a local. We were not disappointed. Food is absolutely 💯 fantastic. Pizzas made fresh to order, excellent value and portions plentiful. Cannot fault except maybe for, the dining area itself could have been warmer however the welcome and service was by far the best. Highly recommend. Don’t expect fancy decor etc but you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.

Really great wee pub. Definitely what I would describe as an old man pub but that’s a good thing!! Drinks were decent price, good vibe, shoutout to the barman called Simon (I think) who was great! Definitely recommend for anyone staying in Isle of Mull hotel and spa as it’s close distance and far cheaper for food & drink. The food was great as well!!

The hospitality in The Craignure Inn is second to none. Small place with great craic, amazing staff and Matthew the owner is an absolute saint putting up with my drunken antics! Food is great, plentiful and reasonably priced. If you’re on the island visiting and are looking for a decent dram with a decent bit of craic, you have to spend some hard earned cash here it’s well worth it 😊 just sorry we can’t visit more often. 

We ate in the craignure pub and couldn't fault it. 2 teens and 2 adults one that's gluten free. There where lots of gluten free options clearly lablled on the menu. All of us loved the food and aye every bit! Toilets where spotlessly clean also. We didn't sit in the pub and it was a lovely day so sat outside. Very friendly locals to chat away to Aswell. Guy behind the bar was really helpful and polite 

We were in need of a meal before our ferry back to Oban and the landlord was very accommodating to serve us as soon as possible. He seated all 7 of us before the food serving time. The food was excellent. 

Visited the Bar prior to catching the Ferry to Oban looking for food both met with a welcoming and friendly Barman who provided Menus and Drinks,ordered food and couldn't fault it the Steak Pie was delicious and the Chicken stack fabulous only thing i would change would be having hand cut chips but as said definitely would recommend even just see the Bar its like going back in time and reminded myself of the auld kingshouse Bar in Glencoe.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in the camping area over the road that resulted in two trips to the bar! Lovely atmosphere from locals & lovely beer. Highly recommend as they were also so helpful with anything we asked about the island. Will return one day.

During a recent visit to Craignure after a walk down to the ferry we decided to go to the Craignure Inn. we also wanted some information about Mull. They were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our drink; Although we didn't have a meal the food looked good-lots of happy eaters!

Good for a drink

Really enjoyed our trip there on a dark and dreary Saturday night. Reason for 4* was due to only one beer on tap being available (outside of their control) and a slight lack of atmosphere - some music would have been great. Otherwise the food, chat and service was class.
