A lovely hotel to stay in. Jason absolutely made our night there by being so accommodating and welcoming. He served our group with a smile and made sure we all enjoyed our evening. It was a lovely end to our works trip so thank you so much Jason :)

Fab hotel with fantastic staff. 
Jason was without a doubt the highlight of our stay, he was super friendly and accommodating. He really went the extra mile to make sure we all had a great evening and had everything we needed with a smile. Would definitely stay again ☺️

I just want to say , Jason absolutely made our night. Such a positive, fun energy. Let us play elf on the shelf for as long as we wanted , served the drinks with a smile, honestly couldn’t have asked for a better bar tender. Lovely man , made a lot of peoples night

We have stayed here a few times now and it’s a firm favourite when we are in the Cardiff area.

Plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff, good food options and the rooms are modern/clean and tidy and we always get a good nights sleep.

We stayed for a night whilst visiting family at Christmas.  The Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the bar area was great. We had great cocktails sitting in the newly refurbished lounge area. An unexpected lovely stay. Would definitely stay here rather than in town in future. 

Spent 10 days at Cardiff north premier inn.
Firstly, got some great nights of sleep which is perfect when grafting all day.
I also found the reception/bar/restaurant very cozy and welcoming.

Everytime I ate in the restaurant, the food was tasty and the staff were all so friendly I truly felt like I've been eating there for years they remembered my name and could remeber what I ordered and were very accommodating.

We were happy to find a premier inn near where we needed to be. Had a lovely stay. Very quiet at night. Room had what we wanted tea and coffee machines. Happy to come back. We couldn’t have breakfast as they were doing the restaurant and refurbishing but it will be a great experience with this too. Everything was as it should be. The night staff was helpful when we needed something. 


I've been meaning to write this review for a long time as I was very impressed with the Premier Inn Cardiff North. I stayed here for over a month. I initially chose it as it had been refurbished. The rooms were very nice - I stayed in a few. Room 226 I really liked as it was tucked away with a good view. The refurbishment was excellently done. Everything was clean and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great - clean and modern. Things like tea/coffee/milk were topped up regularly. Unfortunately I wasn't there when the restaurant was open but I'm hoping to go back in March to experience it. 

The main thing I loved about the place though was the staff. Each and everyone was pleasant, polite and professional plus friendly. They really are an asset to the company as they often went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough for making my stay there so good and I'm looking forward to going back and seeing some familiar faces. Wishing them all the best with the new restaurant.

First visit since the refurbishment and am more than impressed, great make-over! Was a rugby weekend so the place was full to bursting. The 'plus' rooms are certainly worth the upgrade in my opinion. Some confusion of parking charges, as eMail suggests parking was chargeable but that is (was) not the case. The restaurant was manic at breakfast time, and a little unsafe as some families were letting young children run around playing amongst people with hot drinks, food etc....accident waiting to happen - and I even had a dog leap up to my breakfast table while its owner was busy ignoring it - a bit more 'management' of the restaurant would be good!

Great Stay in Refurbished Hotel

Our experience was mostly positive. It was a Premier Inn so you aren’t expecting it to be really fancy but it was a great price, even for a premier inn, and really not bad. The lobby was nicely decorated and the family room was perfectly comfortable and reasonably sized. We slept well. The breakfast- again, not really fancy but good.

The only downsides were that the carpark was really full. There was literally one space left which we took, and it was really small and far from the hotel entrance. I don’t know what we’d have done if there hadn’t been that space. Lots of people were drinking in the lobby bar (Thursday evening) so probably using the spaces as it was quiet when we left the following morning. Also, there were no staff on reception and it was self check in. This was efficient at the time but caused problems later on. We followed the instructions but one of our key cards ended up not working and my husband was trapped in the lobby unable to get up to our room (I was in the room) with no staff to help, so I had to come down and help- at least the other key worked!

If you are looking for an affordable trip to Cardiff this is a great choice.
Whilst not located in centre it is easily accessible by public transport and offres free parking.
Unfortunately during our stay the restaurant was not open (due to refurbishment works) - the only downside as I am a great fan of the Premier Inn breakfast.
Otherwise great value!!

CARDIFF ON AN AFFORDABLE BUDGET

The best staff ever!

When we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming and helped us check in efficiently when we reached our room it was Extremely clean and well equipped. The restaurant is currently being refurbished so we couldn’t eat there however there was a basic continental breakfast. The coffee machine stopped working however it was easy to locate a staff member and the issue was resolved immediately. very friendly helpful staff. Overall very pleased with our stay 

Exceptionally clean

This hotel did not disappoint. At first sight the building a little aged, BUT then you get your room. What an absolute pleasure! From first entry through reception it was an absolute pleasure to chat with the staff on my arrival and through the next week and a half. 
The rooms are lovely and clean and have very recently been refurbished to a great standard. I can only imagine that once the small inconvenience of there being no restaurant is addressed, this Premier Inn will be hard to find fault with. Thanks to all the staff of Premier Inn Cardiff North and for meeting my small request at the end of my first week in particular Steven and George on the management team.

A cracking stay at cracking hotel. A business trip made delightful.

The image of the hotel from the outside is not good. However the room was excellent and modern, the place was quiet and we slept really well. The restaurant is being refurbished which we were notified of in advance however Premier Inn still provided free got drinks, croissants and a nice range of fruit, which impressed me. 

Excellent despite the external appearance

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location convenient if you have your own transportation
