We really chose this Premier Inn for convenience of its location.  We were in Wales for a family funeral and we wanted the reliability of Premier Inn.  You know what you're getting. 
It is very handy for the major routes and plenty of parking and price was excellent.  
And we had a great stay. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. 
The staff were lovely. Couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. 
We hadn't booked breakfast but they made room for us and had a good selection of hot and cold food. 
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

From the moment we arrive we were treated like VIPs. Tracy was on reception when we arrived and she was the most courteous, kind and helpful receptionist we have had the pleasure of meeting in a long long time. 
Every single member of staff was truly fabulous, friendly and helpful but for us as a family,  Tracy was the shining star. We travelled as a family of 10. Our Daughter and Son in law with 3 of our Grandchildren arrived first, myself and my husband arrived 2nd all for a 2 night stay. Another of our Daughters,Son in law and Granddaughter arrived the following day for a 1 night stay. The first arriving party climbed Pen Y Fan on the Saturday. 
With no hesitation, Tracy went out of her way to get advice on the different routes available as we spoke on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracy and she even offered an ice pack in the event I had any issues with a recent foot surgery. Thankfully all was fine. 
When our Daughter and family arrived on the Saturday there was a problem with the room and Tracy immediately rectified the problem moving them to the usual standard of room which we love Premier Inn for.
Following the successful climb it was wonderful to return to our rooms and run a hot bath and soak for a while in comfort. The beds and pillows and towels as usual were very clean and very comfortable. Big thank you to housekeeping. 

We used the Brewers Fayre next door (a 1 minute walk)  for food which was a wonderful buffet style breakfast offering a great choice inc Vege/vegan choices and also their evening meals were plentiful and fairly priced. 

An absolutely fabulous stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much to all involved especially our Premier Inn Super Star Tracy. Xxx

Lovely hotel and staff are amazing and so accommodating. They moved our room to be nearer to our elderly parents and couldn’t do enough. We love returning to visit family 

Staff were very friendly, they were very helpful and the check in process was quick and easy. 
The room was very clean, it was well equipped.  The car park had plenty of spaces and it was easy to park. We had a lovely time and will definitely return. 

We have been here before and always come back because we love the location, the fact that you can see the mountains from the hotel and it is a relatively quiet location.  I also love that I could have a nice hot bath after being out in the cold all day.

Ebbwvale Premier Inn really superseded my expectations.From the friendliness and amazing reception as you enter the building right through to the ambience.The staff are welcoming helpful and thoughtful.The best Premier Inn.So delightful coming here each time.Everything on point.

It was a great experience staying At premier inn.Its really value for money.The room and restaurant were in close proximity with lots of car parking facilities. Staff was very cooperative and kids enjoyed the most.

Fantastic welcome from Hayley and Jade. They were very friendly and helpful.  I would highly recommend this hotel.  Lovely clean room and very quiet location.  I will definately be coming back. Nothing beats a premier inn breakfast.

Friendly and efficient reception. Very helpful and patient assistance at all times. Lovely clean and quiet room. Would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was excellent and very good value for money.

A Little Gem.

We came here last minute after leaving a different hotel down the road. But there were no problems with the check in. Very friendly reception staff and a lovely room with a lot of space and all the things you’d need. 

Had a nice breakfast in the Brewers Fayre too with my 10 year old niece eating for free.

Decent

I like premier inns because they’re reasonably priced and you know what you’re going to get more or less. When I arrived the woman on reception was super lovely and helpful. When I got to the room I was impressed by how neat and above all how spotlessly clean it was. I had a really good nights sleep, it was quiet and the bed was huge and really comfortable. I didn’t bother with breakfast in the Brewers Fayre next door settling for just coffee. I drove off and left my toiletries bag in the bathroom and they called 3 times to finally get through to me to let me know which I really appreciated. WiFi was a bit patchy but all in all a really good experience.

Our Superstar Tracy

Premier Inn, Ebbw Vale is cited in a majestic valley, dwarfed by imposing mountains on all sides. The hotel is fairly new, quite large and obviously run very efficiently. Everything was clean and check-in was short and sweet. Rooms were a little difficult to navigate as it was a large hotel but there are signs everywhere. Generally as a lone female I felt safe and enjoyed a good sleep in the comfortable bed. Heating and lighting were adjustable. Everything else you would expect was in place.

Hit the Spot

For the past few years we have stayed at this hotel when visiting relatives nearby. 
Staff are always very friendly and helpful. 
For the price rooms are spacious, by European standards, and well laid out. 
Breakfast is in a pub/restaurant across a slip road. Food was of really good Quality and plentiful. 
It would make an excellent base to tour South Wales. 

Really good place to stay. Very good value for money 

so was staying here for a few days over late december and it was such a pleasant stay. Room was very clean and very neat & quiet. But most outstanding part of my stay was the receptionist I think her name was Sade, she was so professional and friendly, helpful nothing was to much trouble for her, she was very funny as well, what an asset to the company. The housekeepers really lovely as well

Beauriful room and fantastic receptionist

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Premier Inn Ebbw Vale, it served as the perfect venue to meet up with visiting family. Our room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. 
We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast was great! The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful - no complaints; we will definitely visit again.

Christmas gathering

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years and it has always been really good, clean, located ideally for my trip, etc. I never post on review boards but after the care and attention I was given following damage caused to my car by a malicious person in the area, both Karen and Steph at the reception were so helpful and kind late at night when I was feeling so vulnerable, they need a mention. Thank you so much for you help and the information which helped in getting my car fixed to travel back home. It reminded me that there still good people out there.
