Great place to stay, a short walk to the city center

The host is really nice and friendly by making sure to keep the my room clean each day. Also provide breakfast.

What a gem of a place! On arrival we were greeted by the host, Steve, who was kindness itself. Very helpful and friendly, giving us useful tips and suggestions for our stay in Bath. The selection of goods for a continental breakfast was plentiful and replenished every day. The thoughtful extras provided in the room makes your visit feel like dropping in at a friends rather than a b&b. The fan in the bedroom was especially welcome as we visited during a particularly hot spell! I cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough. Thank you Steve and The White House!

Steve was quite helpful & friendly. Room had a nice collection of items for breakfast and overall was quite a comfortable lodging.

Steve was a fantastic host, room was clean, bed was comfortable, many options for breakfast in your room along with orange juice and water, left some treats and room has a coffee pot & kettle. Steve serviced the room each day. Next trip to Bath I will absolutely stay here again

Easily one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The property is strategically located in relation to the station and the town centre. Steve is incredibly kind and accommodating. My room was quiet, clean, cosy and exquisitely decorated. Same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast station was abundantly stocked and new supplies were added every day. UK plugs and USB ports are provided. I truly appreciate the level of thought that was put into making guests comfortable and will definitely book again!

Lovely host and lovely en-suite room.  Was stocked with plenty of snacks, tea, coffee, even had milk and OJ in the fridge.   One of the better guest houses I’ve visited on this trip.

Steve was an excellent host. The room was clean and spacious. The property was in an easy to access area. We were able to get to everything in Bath we needed.

Steve and Ann made us feel so welcome. Nothing too much trouble. All the little extras were so thoughtful. A very substantial continental breakfast provided in your room so no dash for breakfast in the morning. A little front garden with table and chairs which was ideal for a late night drink.

It was in a great location about 10 mins walk to the centre of town and all the main visitor sites, the host was always on hand.However the room was very small for 2 people.An interesting range of breakfast items, but no hot breakfast available.Nice clean bed and bathroom good range of toiletries available.Overall great value.

Wonderful!

Just an incredible stay at the White Guest House. The continental breakfast was over the top with treats thrown in. Clean and comfortable as our host Steve had thought of it all and we enjoyed our three day stay in Bath. We had the unit on the ground floor and it was very quiet and a very easy 500 metre walk to the big Abby and main square where the Roman Baths were. If you stay there please walk up to the Canal which is up the north west end of the road and watch and walk the canal and locks. I helped a couple of boaters move the lock gates as it made my day seeing a lifestyle I only ever saw on TV travel shows. We are still talking about the visit to Bath as the free tour of town is the best as they have two times 10:30 + 2pm. Go!

Compact and Comfortable

The property is conveniently located just a short distance from the major attractions in Bath. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The baggage storage was particularly appreciated as I had to catch a later coach. The owner was friendly and offered useful tips on free tours of Bath. I would stay there again if I went back to Bath.

I really liked the joint. I forget the host's name but he was cool and gave some good tips about the city. The room was one of four I believe in the property and he lives next door. It was homely, like being a guest in a friend's house and having a nice little room there. I liked the heater for the mattress. I liked the little odds and ends for breakfast. I liked the little extras that you get with being in a room that's a guest house that you don't always get elsewhere. I also liked the location a lot. It's just on the other side of the river and a bit south of the city centre. About 10-12 minute walk. This meant it was far enough away from the noise and in a quiet little street. It also had good access to the south of the city past the river where there is a nice park and some good cafes and restaurants. There's nothing to complain about really, I recommend this place for anyone visiting Bath, it's not called a guest house for nothing, you do really feel like a guest. Nice and comfy.

Cute, and good location

I never write reviews however I felt I had to for what can only be described as a little gem of a guest house in Bath.  The room was lovely, extremely comfortable and felt very covid safe.   Steve met us at the door and was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.  We were given a permit to have free parking on the road (this is a big plus) and the Guest house is within a 5 minute walk to the City Centre.  This guest house is definitely worth 5 stars.

Gem of a Guest House in Bath

A lovely, B&B located in a quiet street, short walk to the railway station and also nearby Widcombe, with a couple of coffee shops and Pubs. Also the Kennet and Avon canal to go for a walk along. Excelent short walk past Bath Rugby ground to the centre of Bath town. At The time of writing this there is a continental style  breakfast in your room.

Great stay, very comfortable. We had a twin room but Steve very kindly pushed the beds together to make it a double! It was like home from home and the selection for breakfast was spot on and replenished daily. Nice quiet location, 10 min walk over the bridge into Bath town. Will stay again without a doubt.

Perfect stay in Bath

Steve was extremely helpful in advising us on where the sights were, the B and B is only a five minute walk away from the centre on a very quiet street, he even allowed us to keep our parking permit on the last day until 3 pm even though we checked out at 10.30 am,would definitely stay here again.Angela and Neil,
