We were a group of 8 when we travelled to Cagayan de Oro. Looking for a place to stay in the city is quite difficult, especially that we are considering the budget. Luckily, we found Casa Isabella. During our visit, we were able to get two rooms (Triple deluxe room w/ extra bed) for Php 2300. The good thing about the place is how it has strategic location. It is situated atthe heart of the city — walking distance to Divisoria. It is surrounded with a lot of fast-food restaurants. Establishments and malls are walking distance. Certainly good place! The staffs are friendly as well and the shower rooms have water heaters and are air conditioned. You also get to have small slice of soaps and fresh towels.

Accessible, good location. The bed is a bit old though but aircon is working. Hot shower is okay, the toilet doesnt have flush or was broken but you can use a pail. Decent place to sleep in and comfortable. 

Very good value for the money you pay. The room was clean and the service was very good. You have cable TV and free WiFi in the room, which wored perfect while I stayed there.
It is situated in the center of the city, very close to Plaza Divisoria. You can go out of the hotel and take a taxi on the street any time of the day, and almost any time at night. There are several food joints nearby, so you can easily eat breakfast at McDonald's, Jollibee or another food chain.
The hotel has a curfew at midnight, when the main gate at the entrance floor is closed, but while you cannot get out of the hotel at night, no one can enter the hotel either, so you are very safe.
The hotel is situated on the third (and I believe also the fourth) floor, with shops on the first and second floor. Across the street from the main entrance to the building there is a small stall where you can load your Philippine sim card or buy a new sim card.
If you want to learn Korean, there is a studio that provides this service on the second floor of the building.
The a/c worked perfectly so I had to turn it down in the night not to freeze and catch an a/c cold.
I am very pleased with my stay at Casa Isabella!

Budget-friendly Accommodation

Good value for low cost

The location is good, accessible to different restaurants, few minutes to get to Centrio Mall. Good value for money.

It's about 400 pesos from the airport to the hotel. It can be somewhat difficult to find as it's solely on the 3rd floor of a small plaza. But you will see the signs if you look out. The satff are pleasant and the rooms are clean. We booked via Booking. Com, cost $11 plus $3Vat. Total $14 pn. Rooms are clean, but not spectacular, only cold water, and they only give you 1 small free soap bar, which is typical in Philippines. Tv is great cable, but depending upon which room, depends upon Wifi connection. The Hotel doesn't sell anything including water, but it's a safe area and a brief walk to cater for that. 
We would stay there again, but only for a brief stay, which is generally the case in that city.

We stayed here on our trip to CDO and it was nice accommodating experience. The room is clean ,spacious ,very affordable and most of all great location.  My only comment is the construction going on along the area, sometimes worker still works at night so it's too noisy. 

But overall it is a good place to stay in CDO .

Casa isabella is well located, 50meters far from Divisoria Plaza. 
Rooms are clean, with Tv, Wifi, room service and hot shower. Employees are very nice and the place is safe. 
Prices start at 680p for 2, 880p for 3 persons and 1300p for 4 persons.
