What a beautiful place Rijad Baba! The  location it’s fantastic! Hicham helped us a lot! He is so friendly and always willing to help. Mohammed too! What a great guys! Fantastic place to visit Fez! The rooms are clean and well organized. Breakfast really good!

Exceptionally kind staff who seemed genuinely caring and thoughtful. They were more than happy to help hail us a taxi at anytime. The breakfasts were delicious and the riad's interior decoration was charming and typically Moroccan.

It is a very nice riad located close to Ziat area in the medina.  It is difficult to find.  Wifi works in the downstairs hall.  Food is only served at breakfast time.  Usefull if you wanf to feel how was the living house of  Morocan rich man

Fantastic place!

Lovely

Very nice but difficult to find it

We spent 2 nights here and we generally had a good experience. There are 4 of us, and we rent a car, so the first problem we encounter was: parking. Parking is 30 dirham per night, and the parking guardian changed frequently, so we need to pay 30 dirham to each guardian. Which was kind of...not good.
Then the second problem was: it is not easy to find. Like any other Riad, this Riad also has a grand door in the middle of alleyway with super small board telling us that it is the place. As we arrived around midnight, it gets even trickier.
Anyway, once you're inside you will be amazed on how it looked very luxurious.
The bathroom wasn't the best, but it's working.
This Riad is located in the north end of the Medina, so to go to the 'real' Medina, like the Chouara Tannery, etc., we need to take our car.
The ladies (caretaker of the hotel) don't speak English that well, so we didn't get any memorable interaction with hotel staffs. We did, however, meet some locals who are very helpful ;)

It's a Riad

When we arrived at the Riad, they told us to wait, so we sat in he courtyard for about an hour before they even let us know what was going on: our room wasn't available! Wihtout any further explanation they handed us over to a "friend", who drove us to another place in the medina, to stay in another Riad we never heard of. After the first night we had to change back to Riad Baba they told us, we turned down that offer and looked for ourselves because we had enough. We arrived tired and exhausted from the flight and it was verry annoying and disappointing that it took us about 3 hours to find a nice place to stay, especially because we weren't expecting this because we booked this place about 3 month in advance...

Safe Stay? - Not here, thanks to overbooking!

They lost our reservation, and because of this put us in their 'extra room' that was riddled with bed bugs, and smelled like actual sewage.

The people there are nice and try to help as much as they can, but this place was a dump. Find somewhere else.
