Al Habtoor Grand

I stayed at Al Habtoor Grand Hotel in Sin El Fil recently, and what really stayed with me wasn’t the building or the rooms (which were completely fine) but the people working there. A few of them honestly made our stay feel much better than we expected. At the front desk, Manuella Matta was the first person we met, and she set the tone. She checked on us every single day in this natural, friendly way—not the usual scripted “Is everything okay?” but something warmer. Each time we walked in and she happened to be around, she greeted us like we were familiar faces. It actually feels strange how quickly we got used to that. Cristian was also incredibly pleasant and helpful. These two really made a difference. Breakfast became something we looked forward to mostly because of the people there. Anwar and Noel were always in good spirits, even early in the morning, and the lady running the pastry and egg station was so kind and patient. It gives the whole morning a nicer feel when the staff are genuinely friendly. The concierge, Ali Mreij, was very helpful throughout our stay. And I want to mention the security team, especially Ihab Iskandar, who was consistently polite and attentive. Same goes for Mansour and the parking staff, and the cleaning team as well—everyone we interacted with was kind in a very unpretentious way. It’s easy for hotels to advertise service, but it’s people like these who actually make you want to come back. And in our case, they definitely did.
