This is an awesome place! We loved every bit of our stay here. The lady of the house (Tina) was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is small but cozy, everything met or exceeded our expectations. We can only recommend it. The Rosengarten and Latemar are both easily reachable for hiking from this hotel. One bit of advice: the hotel is located about 30-40 minutes by foot from the center of Welschnofen. There is a bus stop nearby and also a convenient marked trail that gets you there through the forest (so that you don't have to walk on the side of the road), but it's probably more convenient to stay here if you have a car.
