I stayed here as part of a cycling group holiday, having booked a solo room. The room provided was very reasonable, large, windows, and a good sized bathroom. We stayed for 2 nights, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is quite dated, but the room was very nice, there was a lift, a place we could all meet to discuss the following days (or evenings) activities, and the breakfast was really good, especially the range of croissants stuffed with jam, cream, or chocolate. At the end of the evening, there was no problem for the daft to provide a large mug of boiling water for me to make my own herbal tea in my room, having forgotten my travel kettle.
