I stayed for 6 days in this hotel. The hotel is near to the airport. My room was very clean, quite and comfortable. Their hospitality is extraordinary. They have open restaurant and good sheafs as long as Ethiopian food is concerned.

The hotel is centrally located.  The rooms are new and clean.  They have hot water showers and a breakfast buffet (on the weekend you can order what you like).  The Wifi worked, which is a pleasant change.  Finally, the .price is reasonable at $50/night for a single room.  I was in room 604

I stayed 8 nights on a long time journey to a very competitive rate (lower than the previous reviewers).
Room quality reaches nearly European standard with very few minor issues. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Especially the in-court guarded carpark is of great value. It is relatively spacious.
The gastronomic facilities are a bit pricy, but welcome on rainy evenings.
The location is ideal situated in an area with many midrange to upscale shops and restaurants, even offstreet, but it takes a few days to discover all.

Good Stay

My room was on the 6th floor. Great view but thats about all. The bed was sooo uncomfortable. I felt every spring. The room is small and needs to be detail cleaned. The bathroom doesn't have a tub and did not look clean. The curtain had a hole in it and the window had a crack. I had only BBC news channel. All the other tv stations didn't work and BBC was fuzzy. Price was $55 which is high for Ethiopia and you can find a much nicer guesthouse for equal or less price. The free breakfast was ok. Had oatmeal, eggs, bread and fresh juice. There is a elevator, but the stairs are faster. The location is good but I wouldn't recommend this place for a couple or family. 

Overpriced for quality 

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Atlas International Hotel Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. My three days at this hotel were nothing short of a disaster. From unclean pillows and beedsheets to a laundry service that bordered on destructive, topped off with security concerns and an unauthorized room change, this hotel has a long way to go before it can be considered a reputable place to stay. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for accommodations that prioritize cleanliness, professionalism, and basic guest satisfaction.

A nightmare stay at Atlas International Hotel Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

I knew I was going to be placed here again, I'd definitely move hotels. I have nothing against out of date decor/furniture etc but the only saving grace was that the sheets were clean. The net curtains were so filthy I didn't dare touch the other curtains to draw them. The switch for the water heater was right next to the shower - electrocution guaranteed so I had a cold shower out of fear.
