Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana ‐ Adults Only ‐ All Inclusive

I love traveling to Punta Cana, I always said that is the best vacation to relax and recharge. The food, weather and Dominican hospitality is unmatched! Me and my wife stayed there from Oct 2nd to Oct 5th and we had an amazing experience in the hotel. First day guest were friendly but I didn't felt that Dominican "high spirit energy" I've known all my life since I used to frequently travel to Punta Cana. In our arrival Jean in the front desk gave was super friendly and made sure our anniversary experience was taken care of. The rooms were "ok" but for the price of the night and how new the hotel is I would expect more modern look and also an bathtub or jacuzzi in every room by standard, ours only had a shower. My favorite areas were the pool and restaurants, the pool was my highlight playing ping pong with one of the entertainment employee, Amado Rosario, this guy had the expected dominican standard service attitude, uniquely giving us a tour around the whole hotel and its areas, he went out of his way to be our personal concierge and make sure we were aware of every restaurant in the hotel, the gym and other areas in the hotel. He is also an entertainer at night for events at the hotel, this man's charisma and hospitality is unmatched, he is the kind of person that guests leave with a good image of vacation experience. I def need to come back and get my rematch in ping pong! He also made us reservation at the steak house restaurant, The Blind Butcher, is a MUST! great and lot of food and the entertainment is fun while having dinner. I also need to recognize the staff at the Shutters restaurant by the pool, the servers Brian and Jordany, we had breakfast and lunch at this restaurant just because of the service and hospitality by these two young gentlemen. Everyday they went out of their way to make sure our experience was 5-star service, reserving us our favorite spot, chair and table, our coffees, mimosas, specify orders for breakfast or lunch! ALSO I can forget the chef Enoc Felix! he personally came everyday to greet us, check if our food the cooked for us was good or if we had comments or questions. Going that extra mile matters, I worked in the hotel industry for 8 years as a bartender at a lobby bar and guests loved when you create unique experience by doing the little things that matter. Having experience that now in the other side of the table is great! Hotel GM or restaurant managers, you got great human beings in that restaurant, take care of them please! At night we always hanged out by the "One Eye Kitty" where the best bartender in Punta Cana is, Jairon, took great care of us with specialty drinks, walking us through ingredients, processes and with a little bit of working flair bartending! I enjoyed this a lot since I miss my good old days working as a bartender. Overall hotel is great, good quality food and quiet for relaxation, but what made our experience amazing and reason to go back were the hotel staffs! Thank you again, Amado, Jean, Jairon, Brian, Jordany and Enoc! You all went above and beyond!
