The Upper House

A team of 30 traveled for business and a smaller group of 9 traveled to Hong Kong afterwards. Our smaller group enjoyed a 9-day stay at the Upper House and the staff truly made it feel like a home away from home while in the city. Everyone at the hotel we interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help—from the staff at the concierge handling the deliveries for our group, to the warm reception at breakfast each day, to the room service and guest services staff. The hotel is perfect for a group who has wellness and calm in mind - which was perfect after a long month of work on the mainland. I unfortunately had too much work to fully take advantage of all the in-house amenities but really enjoyed the Monocle cafe and popup for my morning and afternoon coffees. The rooms are even lovelier in person - the warm woods and large layout really make for a comfortable experience. In-room dining is also 24-hours - which is a great perk for when you need to make a US-based or Europe-based zoom call. Location is excellent - you're tucked away near the Admiralty metro stop and abutting the Pacific Mall - makes for a nice walk through Hong Kong Park to get to Central and just steps away from yummy eateries in Wan Chai. There are no business centers within this hotel - but the team creatively helped us find a fix on their expansive 49th floor. I can recommending the Upper House to anyone planning a trip to Hong Kong and look forward to my next visit, hopefully for pleasure!
