Hostal Vaiora

I do recommend this hostel. Familiar atmosphere and well located. The owners welcomed us very well and supported us with everything we needed. Victor marvelously guided us through Torres del Paine showing us the most remarkable view of the park.

Stayed in a twin room (bunk bed) as a solo traveller for a very reasonable US$ 16/night (as with all hotels in Chile, paying in $ exempts you from paying VAT). As per other reviews, rooms are indeed small and walls are thin (although did not have issues), but the place is clean and owners are friendly. Towels and breakfast (basic: tea, coffee, bread, ham, cheese, ham) provided, which is a nice touch. Location is great, with bus station and main square within 10 minutes walking distance (you can get bus tickets to TDP at reception). 

This budget hostel was better than i expected. Well working heaters in rooms and clean bathroom with hot shower. Adequate breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Good location, just 10 minute walk to center and it's a good walk with the lovely neighbourhood.

At first I was a little taken back when I saw the size of the room. It was very tiny with a twin bunk bed. I knew we opted for bunk bed with shared bathroom but was a little disappointed with the space. Lucky we are not big made people so we managed the 3 nights. The room was cleaned daily and so was the bathroom. The owner Victor was very helpful and we booked some tours through him. The breakfast was nice too. Just a little advice when the hostal is busy one has to wait a while to use the bathroom. There are other rooms that are bigger and may be more comfy. Good location and a big super market near by.

Good location, nice and cozy hostal, super helpful owner.

Amazing place to stay

Most say I made my best to be cool own this place. But did not work in many senses. Owner is very pushy about his rules. Second day we been move to super tiny room without much of a choice. Not comfortable beds & bathrooms we can say.
Try to skep it if you can. I move to other hostel and light can back ;-).

Small and not confortable place

The hostal is about 8 minutes walk away from the central part of Puerto Natales. They offer 3 kind of accommodation, camping behind their house, room w/h and with bathroom. Free parking is at the street in front of their house and it's located in a silent neighborhood.
We had the room with own bathroom and it's really tiny. We could almost walk to the bathroom because our bag pack was on the ground floor. The room has in addition TV and a gas heater. The bathroom is tiny too. Overall the room was quite clean. As everything seems to be very tiny there, you can easily hear everything of your neighbors and vice versa.
The breakfast was continental level, bread, ham, cheese, jam, tea, juice, etc. 
They have WiFi as well with very good speed.
The hosts were friendly to us.
From our point of view, it's a little bit too expensive for a hostal and the bedroom with own bathroom.

Tiny room, tiny bathroom, tiny hostel. Everything tiny!

The heater was broken and we FROZE all night. Disgusting shared bathroom we didn't even shower Super slow wifi.
The rack rate was 24,000 pesos, including VAT, as printed in their hall. They refused to discount the VAT which is their obligation to tourists and pretended the VAT was already exempt, but charged a national resident the same 24,000. What they try to do is keep the VAT to themselves. If revenue is even declared.
