Beautiful view from our room. A little over 1/2 hour to peggys cove.

Beautiful spot on a lake. Staff were very professional. Very clean

It was clean and staff freindly but noisy at night due to traffic going by....

Convenient location- close to HalifaxVery cleanStaff there is so genuinely kind, I thought she was the owner but she indicated she was an employee.  She is a gem and I hope owners recognize this!Cleaners on previous stay even asked how we liked it.  You can see how hard they work.  Don’t think I’ve ever had cleaners ask before.Beautiful view!  Would definitely stay again.

We especially liked the dock on the lake. Beautiful and relaxing.

Great place to stay , very cute and well kept units, Queen bed was more like a double bed.  The motel is close to a busy road , I would suggest ear plugs for light sleepers. I highly recommend this motel and will be my place to stay next I am back in Halifax. Great outdoor space if the weather would have cooperated

I liked that the room had a beautiful view of the lake and having the room service was nice. When I went to check in, it took 10 minutes of standing there waiting for the receptionist to end a phone conversation which was a little frustrating. The room itself had a running toilet and the fridge compressor was so loud when it kicked in it startled me during the night. Also parking in the tiny stalls with the posts so close was a little tricky and would be difficult for someone with accessibility issues.

Lovely staff!!! Clean room, great eating area, beds were comfortable but could use an update (creaky).Parking was a little tight when multiple large trucks were parked, made it difficult for a small car to get around.Beautiful view of lake!  Would’ve loved to have had an area to sit out by the lake.The area across the road near pharmacy and restaurant felt quite unsafe in the evening.

Our room was brand new. There is a sitting   area in back of the hotel was that quiet and beautiful by a serene lake. The kitchenette window looks out on lake and is easy to partially open for a breeze. Walking and biking trails along the lake are another way to enjoy the beauty and peace of the area.

Pleasant

Absolutely wonderful motel near the water that you can swim in and also sit out on the dock. Very clean, comfortable, and good location close to Halifax and Peggy's Cove. Staff were friendly and the brewery across the street is fantastic - great food and great beer. There is also a little market with a coffee shop, fresh veggies and fruits, and pastries just across from the motel that is wonderful. Will definitely stay again!

The room was surprisingly large with a queen bed, sofa, small dining table and kitchenette. The grounds are lovely and a Tim Hortons is within walking distance. It's about a 30 minute drive from the city center of Halifax, but the other hotels in the city were either booked or way over our budget at the time due to multiple events going on.

A Little Gem

I needed a place to stay for one night, close to St Margaret’s Bay so I could attend a meeting early the next morning. This was one of the few I could find. It was easy to find, but on a busy street. The room was everything you could ask for. Clean, tidy and well appointed. There was a small breakfast nook with mini fridge and microwave. A small LCD TV with cable service was available, as well as fast Internet service. The back window looked onto a lovely lake. Road noise died off after 10:00pm. The only problems for me were a VERY firm bed and stifling heat. The room had n floor heating that wouldn’t stop! The thermostat was set to as low as possible and I kept front and rear windows open all night, but it was still too hot. Other than the heat, it was a pleasant stay. Recommended.
