What a lovely hotel! I arrived in Sarajevo three hours early and they allowed me to have my room early, which was very kind. 

The hotel is clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect, just off a side road from the bazaar. 

Like other reviewers, I really appreciated the location a few metres from the old quarter of Bascarsija with lots of cafes and eateries. There are a few markets/supermarkets nearby and also a tram stop but most of the places in the city are within walking distances.
The staff are nice, helpful and speaking English, there was no problem to leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out. Good breakfast between 8 and 10 a.m. The room was cleaned every day.
My window faced a private yard with quite noisy children, fortunatelly they stopped shouting and crying in the evening (which the hotel can do nothing about). Although the room had everything you may need (including a hairdryer), I missed an armchair or at least a chair.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful.  The location is what really makes it, and the price can't be beat.  The breakfast is good, and the staff will take the time to make you Turkish Tea or a Bosnian Coffee.

One of best location in city of Sarajevo, very good breakfast, clean room and kind stuff. It is close to excellent food restaurant Ćevabdžinica Petica Ferhatović, must try čevapi.  I would recommend this place for your stay.

It’s an old Ottoman house made into a small hotel, so don’t expect a lift, but the staff will help you with luggage. The rooms are small but lovely and cozy, the bathroom is new, small but with a spacious shower (beware of the low ceiling) and everything you need including hair dryer. There is air conditioning and good WiFi. The staff is absolutely super, kind and helpful and fluent in English. Breakfast is served in the cellar but the decor is very good and it seems to be in a hut in the woods; there isn’t a big choice but typical dishes like a warm pie with cheese and spinach are included too, which is quite nice. They have a small parking place, you have to reserve it but then you can also leave the car some extra hours on your departure day. The location is the best you can imagine, right in the old city, near bars, shops, and restaurants, walking distance from all the main sights. The price is very good, little more than 50€ for a double including breakfast and parking.

We stayed there for 2 nights on a tour of the Balkans.As I said in the title the situation is excellent, it's just a short walk from the main tourist area.Our room was rather small but was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were kind and helpful.I would certainly choose to stay there again.
As we were there during "lockdown" we were taken to a local cafe for breakfast.Main meals are not served but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Definitly its location which makes this hotel to the best ones in Sarajevo, the workers are friendly and helpful and they speaking english very well also. However the rooms are small (at least our was, but we knew that beforehad), but they are perfectly okey for 1-2 night stay. The breakfast is above avarage, everything were fresh and delicious, there were wide range of choices also.We have only one remark, the carpet in the rooms are used, very used, it should be changed, and i bet it would refresh the whole enviroment in the room.

Very nice place. Right in the heart of the old town. Very quiet and convenient location. Good breakfast and nice service. Our room was a bit small and the the toilet was definitely small. Tiny parking available. Only two cars. But nearby there is a public parking.

I'm slightly sorry to be giving this one 3 stars, but it wasn't the best experience. We had some delays getting there, as our flight was cancelled and the reception were very responsive at sorting a taxi to come and get us from the airport, so thanks for that.

The receptionist was fine, but not particularly friendly (like the other reviews mention) and when we asked for her recommendations for coffee or food, she just said "Walk towards the main street. There are lots of places" refusing to name one in particular - not really what we were looking for. The hotel, is very well located, in a quiet street close to the main parts of the city. Great for exploring. 

When we came back, the roof in our room was leaking from the rain - the water was streaming down the wall into the wallpaper and into the carpet. As a result the carpet was soaking wet. The same receptionist came and looked at it. We asked to change rooms, and this was denied as the hotel was full. We asked what they were able to do about it and they said they would get the night watch man to look at it. Nothing further happened as far as we were aware. Thankfully the rain stopped. The room as a result, smelled damp and the carpet remained wet for the rest of our stay. 

Also, all the empty and half used toiletry bottles from the previous guests were left in the bathroom, and we had been provided with less than half a toilet roll for a 2 night stay.

The front of the hotel and breakfast room are characterful, but that's about where it ends. The room was cheerfully coloured, but looks dated and worn out, and did not really have the same character of the rest of the building. It was down a dark corridor on the top floor. (The roof above the stairs also leaks so these were very wet when we visited!) There is no communal space you can use, say, if you need to check out early and come back and change. 

In contrast to the previous experience, the lady in the breakfast room was very friendly and as was the receptionist who checked us out and gave us directions on where to get the tram to the train station. 

In truth, given the reviews, we were disappointed it wasn't better than it was. For the same price, we did much better in Mostar.

Hopefully the hotel will take this feedback and make the experience better for guests.

A slightly disappointed 3...

I was contacted by the hotel before my stay. They informed me that the actual price was 3x what I had booked due to there being an error on their web page, and they asked if that was okay by me. They did not offer me any sort of discount due to the error on their part. When I didn't agree to pay the higher price, they cancelled my reservation.
