Klaus

We travelled to Klaus in a group of four and stayed there in 2 double rooms for 8 days. Klaus is located in a fantastic spot just above Soelden and close to a city shuttle which takes you directly to city centre. The shuttle is free, open from early morning until midnight and very convenient if you want to go downtown quickly and effortlessly. The area gives you direct access to ski slopes - we were there in the end of March and there was still enough snow to ski down almost directly from the doorstep. The rooms we had were new and very well decorated matching the 4-star standard. Most rooms look out to the south and east and give an impressive view over Soelden and Oetztal. The breakfast is simple but decent and with fresh food served every day, The sauna area in the basement is fairly small and has not been renovated but offered all we needed after skiing - a Finnish sauna and a Turkish bath. The owners are very nice people always ready to provide help and assistance. All in all, Klaus is a great place for those who want to take full advantage of skiing and avoid the noise and hustle of the centre of Soelden.
