Location
Grand Hotel Sukhum is a 6-storey building with a panoramic restaurant on the roof. The hotel is located in the historical center of Sukhum, at the beginning of the Makhajirs embankment, within walking distance from the main attractions and cultural institutions: the Abkhazian State Drama Theatre, the State Russian Drama Theatre, the Griffin fountain, the colonnade and Brekhalovka. Within walking distance from the hotel there are restaurants of European, Japanese and national cuisine, including a banquet hall. Behind the Basla River, 120 meters from the hotel, on the way to the sea, there is a number of national cafes-apaches. There, guests can also find a supermarket, a pharmacy, a small market. The distance to the nearest beach is 180 meters.

Breakfast for guests is served in the panoramic restaurant on the 6th floor. Guests can also relax in the lobby bar of the hotel. On-site entertainment includes a picnic and barbecue area, an outdoor heated pool with a children's area and hydromassage, and a sun terrace.

Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia dated October 13, 2023 No. 106 "On approval of the procedure for registering foreign citizens and stateless persons at places of temporary stay in the Republic of Abkhazia," which entered into force on January 1, 2024, foreign citizens are subject to registration at places of temporary stay.
When staying at properties with a valid certificate of compliance with the standards, registration is carried out from the date of arrival.
When staying at other properties, registration must be carried out after 14 days from the date of entry into the Republic of Abkhazia.
For registration at check-in, a one-time registration fee may be charged of ₽200.00 per person, regardless of age. Payment is made by guests on site in cash. Booking in the summer time is available for the period of 7 days and more. |
