This place is great if you do not want to spend a fortune on a room. Clean, climate controlled, easy access to shopping, dining, activities. 

The lodge was clean and updated. From what I saw at the front desk, this is a family run business.  The owners I spoke with were kind and accommodating.

Nice Updates

Well your average fleabag hotel. Interestingly, the desk clerk in pyjamas was telling people it was full but we saw many rooms empty. A sketchy couple living there with a pitbull one of the few people we saw. Some drunks as well. I got a bite the first night but many more the second. If it's the only place to stay then be sure and keep your luggage on the tiled floors in the bathroom and put everything in the dryer when you get home. B.e.d.b.u.g.s. Better than sleeping in the car tho. Oh yeah, it was memorial day weekend and we got skinned alive. $130/night for a $40 room.

This motel needs to be condemned!!! I was really surprised at how disgusting the room was. There was a funky odor upon arriving and the carpet was not the type you could feel free to walk on without shoes. There was no hair dryer even though they say there is online. The refrigerator was dirty and there is no setting to lower it and my medication froze in it. There was no hot water so after running the water for 30 minutes I was subjected to a cold shower. To top all of that off, when I came back at 1am, the room was FREEZING and I couldn't find a heater anywhere in the room. I went to the front desk to see if I could get an extra blanket but all of the lights were off and the door was locked. The sign said to please call for assistance which I did repeatedly for 2 hours but nobody answered (my guess is that they were asleep in one of the units). So all night long I woke up repeatedly because of the cold. They have NERVE to charge $93 when its not even worth a penny. As I was leaving in the morning I finally saw where the heating unit is located. Who in their right mind would put a heating unit close to the ceiling on the wall?  Even standing on a chair I couldn't see the dial. This is a poor excuse for a motel and a place to stay even IF YOU ARE HOMELESS!!!! I cannot believe this motel meets the Wyndam standard and I will never again stay in another Wyndam property. Choice Motels will be getting my money from now on!

HORRIBLE!!!

Yes, I did get bitten. So did many others. But it was the only place to stay and we survived it. Word to the wise: keep all luggage on the tiled floors, and push the bed away from the wall. The bed was so hard we got cramps all day. Neighbors had barking pit bulls and seemed to be living there.
