Wonderful, friendly, helpful, and accommodating innkeeper, lovely breakfast, patient explanation of things to see, do, and visit.

Great host , ideal central location with parking.  Good breakfast with  ample choices. Comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities in room. Only issue we had  was that shower was a bit awkward to get temperature right. Would definitely stay  again.

A lovely & cozy B&B. An easy walk to shops & restaurants.

Had a nice and relaxing stay. Great location and the Host 'Tim' was very welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. Enjoyed the breakfast and nice coffee! Set me up for my day and mini adventure around Stratford Upon Avon. Recommend the Virginia hotel. Hope to stay again.

Booked as private parking and location, didn't disappoint. Entrance to park car hard to find if you don't know where it is so see attached map screenshot, parking bays assigned.
Tim is a lovely fella willing to pass on local knowledge. 
Room was small but cosy,  four poster addition to bed not our cup of tea and dominates room making it look smaller than it is. Nice bathroom, water hot in shower but not much pressure.
Breakfast good, just enough to set up for day.
2 minute walk into Stratford ideal.

I initially picked this B&B for the parking facilities but it is also lovely. Parking is difficult in Stratford as it is very busy, having a spot behind the B&B was perfect, it's just a short stroll to everything you need to see and do. Checkin was easy and Tim was very friendly and know al lot of helpful information abut the area.
We were in room five, which was excellent, at the back of the property so it was very quiet, there were no other rooms around it, and it had lots of windows that could be left open in the unusual heatwave in the UK. 
The breakfast was substantial and set you up for the day, but I hope this doesn't sound petty and is probably a personal thing but the hash browns on the vegetarian breakfast were warm but not crispy on both days and so left them. 
There was nothing I didn't like but a few suggestions
-Coat hooks, though it was sunny when we were there the usual British weather is rainy and there is no where to hang a wet coat, hat scarf other than the small wardrobe which would have clothes in.
-There was shower gel but no  shampoo or conditioner, we were on a weeks vacation for my husbands bday so had things but normally if I was just going away for the weekend then I wouldn't and I imaging Stratford is a weekend place.
I would absolutely stay again.

Booked Virginia lodge for myself, my daughter and my mum for a short break. My daughter has a severe allergy to nuts and Tim went above and beyond to ensure there were no nuts in the dining room. This was a huge relief and made our stay perfect. He also knew my mum was elderly and suffers from dementia so kindly offered us a room on a lower floor and has even put us an extra bed in the room so we could all be together. Honestly cannot fault our stay. We will be returning to stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you all at Virginia lodge xx

Booked this B&B on the same day through my work system.
Really good find and supporting local businesses rather than a big chain.
The owner is most accommodating and helpful.
The room was very clean with ensuite facilities.
WiFi very good.

This place is amazing. Grate value for money if you are looking for a top notch place. Been here twice now and would highly recommend. Rooms are excellent. Breakfast  is highly recommend.n Hosts are very friendly and knowledge able around the area

Stayed for two nights. Tim was very welcoming and informative . Room was very pretty with four poster bed and huge bay window. Breakfast was great, perfect amount and plenty of tea and coffee. The Guest house is a beautiful period property with decor to match. Having stayed in Stratford before in a chain hotel.staying here added to the ambiance of our trip beautifully. Free parking and no need to use the car once parked. Wonderfully, relaxing, break in beautiful Stratford Upon Avon!

I stayed here last week whilst visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, and it was a great base. 
I was travelling solo, and stayed in Room 4, which was quite small, with a single bed, but was very affordable and suited my purposes. 

The room was basic but it had everything I needed: a tea station, a good hairdryer, a comfy bed. The room was nice and clean and quiet. 
The only thing I think that needs mentioning is the bathroom situation - the room was advertised at having a private bathroom, and I assumed this meant en suite as that’s what it has meant everywhere else I’ve stayed. The bathroom for the single bed room is not en suite, it’s separate and down the hall, which obviously means wandering around in pyjamas/a towel at night, which I guess not everyone would be comfortable with. As it was, it ended up not really bothering me, but it’s just something to be aware of.
As far as I’m aware, that room is the only one with a separate bathroom, the others are all en-suite.

The owner was very friendly and kind, he helped with my suitcase on the first day, gave me a map and some helpful recommendations, and let me keep my key until the afternoon on the last day so I could collect my bags later. 

I can’t comment on breakfast as I slept through it both days 🙃
But it looked like there was a good selection! 

Overall a great place to stay in Stratford-upon-Avon, would recommend!

Good base for travelling

Great location and a friendly welcome from Tim and with on site parking and only a five minute walk to the centre.Good breakfast and clean rooms only slight problem was all the loose floorboards in bathroom and bedroom had to be the noisiest floor I have ever heard but just need a few screws to sort it out,overall a very pleasant stay. Stayed in room 1 .

Wonderfully relaxing!

What a little gem this place is! So close to town. 
Just spent two nights here with my husband. 
Our room on the top floor and was very cosy & quiet. 
Tim was the perfect host sharing his knowledge of the local area & country walks (just didn’t have enough time to do them). Nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything. 
Our cooked breakfast which was included in the price was absolutely perfect & had exactly the right amount on the plate. 
And there was parking at the rear too! 

We will definitely come back to stay here again.

A little gem so close to town!

I've enjoyed 5 nights at Virginia Lodge and will definitely stay again. My room was clean, pretty, and well presented, with plenty of storage space and copious supplies of tea, coffee, etc.
Breakfast, served in the elegant front dining room, was excellent. I opted for the full English breakfast and was not disappointed, everything perfectly cooked and presented. Excellent coffee too!
Tim has been an exemplary host: warm and welcoming, chatty and helpful, polite and professional.

My visit to Stratford-upon-Avon has been enhanced by my stay at Virginia Lodge and I'll definitely be returning. 

Perfect base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon 

We stayed for a couple of nights in July.  Our host Tim, was very welcoming and helpful with cases and parking and it was an easy check-in.  We had a lovely clean, sunny room with four poster bed and coffee and tea making facilities.  Wifi and satellite tv was also available.  The full English breakfast was delicious but continental breakfast was also available if preferred.  The single issue we had was that the extreme heat meant we had to have both windows open and unfortunately they were easily accessible from a flat roof about two feet below the window, so security was of concern.
