My wife and I stayed at Black Rock for a weekend while visiting Hastings. We were greeted by Vincent, excellent host who couldn't do enough for you but also just let's you enjoy his house. Black rock is a beautiful house and we'll presented. We had breakfast both days with lots to choose from. Vincent cooks scrambled eggs or poached to order and were well above the normal. Excellent. Any recommendations by Vincent were all spot on including some nice restaurants. Overall, if we return to Hastings, will definitely be booking Black rock. Excellent short stay.
