I was a bit flustered when I arrived but my host took it in his stride and walked me through everything. I was especially surprised and grateful for the free top up for my EV as this can be a bone of contention on trips. The only thing I feel could be helpful would be to offer a fan for the room as there is no A/C and it was particularly hot but, apart from that minor issue, it was a lovely stay and I hope to return again soon.

Milka's was clean, quiet, well-located and reasonably priced.  The staff was very friendly and efficient.  I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.

Convenient to bus routes, and quiet place to sleep after a long day in Oxford.  Just down the street from Magdalen Arms, our favourite pub for delicious dinner!Room is small, but comfortable enough for 2.Petar was kind to mail an item left behind free of charge.Would stay again. Thank you!

Room was comfortable and clean. Service was fine and the location was good for nice pubs and food options.

Very nice short stay (2 nights) at Milka's. Friendly greeting, on site parking. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The decor is a little dated but has everything you need. I couldn't hear any traffic noise during the night. An ideal base for visiting Oxford or the surrounding area. Plenty of eateries and takeaways within walking distance.

Great value for money

Great location, the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the city or you can take the bus. The rooms are clean, secure, well maintained and you are provided with a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, towels and a  small amount of shampoo, it was disappointing that soap was not provided to wash your hands. I would stay at the hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.

Used this B&B for one Saturday night for a visit to see my niece at the University. A solid reliable guest house. Didn't spend too much time there as a busy weekend.In summary:- Easy to find off the Iffley Road- Convenient parking - Nice 20 minutes stroll into Oxford City centre with a number of nice pubs on the route - Spotlessly clean rooms with very comfortable bed.- Very quiet (we were at the back)- Excellent full English breakfast & coffee - Friendly & welcoming - family run.I was really pleased we were able to use a local B&B so we could give some income to the local economy rather than the chain hotels.

Excellent Family B&B

The room was absolutely immaculate. Comfortable bed, nicely appointed touches such as genuine English lace on the table and nightstand, hair dryer, in-room coffee, tea, and cream, beautifully updated bathroom.  You really get the feel for old Oxford by staying here. The owners are very accommodating.  Homemade hot breakfast.  Very accessible to Oxford City Center by bus. Bus stop is across the street.  Would definitely stay at this property again!

Very nice B&B just outside of city center of Oxford. Bus just outside the hotel. 10 min with bus or 25 min nice walk a long river Thames to City Center. Very clean room and was very carefully tided up every day. Very comfortable bed if you like hard bed. Very good English breakfast and a bowl with fresh fruit. Service minded and helpful personal. Two smal spotlights instead of one on table lamp connected to the bed would be nice. We know were to book our next stay in Oxford.

A diamond of B&B

If you're looking for a flat with charm and character, this is your place! High ceilings with molding, fireplace, lovely furnishings and plenty of grand, spacious room make this apartment a lovely place to come home to every day! The location was awesome - we walked everywhere...Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse, Royal Mile for shopping and great restaurants within blocks. We even stumbled upon a movie set on our walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Dicksons were wonderful hosts, providing brochures, information, restaurant suggestions and conversation! The fridge was stocked with eggs, bread, milk, butter to get us going our first morning, and we were welcomed with a big, beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers upon arrival. My only disappointment is that the apartment was not available for one more night! You can't go wrong with this rental!

Beautiful, quiet comfort in Georgian Edinburgh.

This was a great location for our reason to visit Oxford and we were immediately greeted by the proprietor and welcomed into the property - very welcoming and a relaxed atmosphere. They went over and above what we would expect and for the price it was a bargain. Many thanks for a great stay and we will be back!!

Great site, location and people

Staff were friendly and the breakfast excellent, either the full English or continental (with a good choice). It's about a half hour walk into Oxford (we didn't bother taking the bus.) From the room traffic on the street could be noisy but died down later in the evening. Overall our stay was very pleasant.
