Dream Wedding!! we recently had our handfasting wedding here and it was a dream!! Bre and Graham are so lovely, friendly and do all they can to help make our day extra special. There whole team has been a massive help from organizing to the day we left.  The local is so wonderful, relaxing and full of character.
All our family and friends truly enjoyed themselves and said how amazing it all was.
We had the freedom to have the wedding we wanted and all the help we needed to pull it off. 
We are truly happy and grateful to Bre and Graham. 
We would recommend this location to all!! And looking forward to visiting it again.


We stayed at Pentre Mawr, the venue for our son's wedding, last weekend with a large group of family and friends. Staying for two nights, the Friday and Saturday, we had the most enjoyable time and would 100% recommend this venue. The hosts were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. The house,gardens and surrounding area is simply stunning (the weather helped, it's always sunny in N Wales!). The garden area was particularly in the most perfect condition and helped to produce what was an excellent week-end. 

extraordinary B&B . Stunning setting and the longest driveway outside of Blenheim. A proper lounge - which is a rarity to rank with an honest politician today. But the piece de resistance are the hosts. Quite outstanding in the normal B&B functions. But that leaves aside their real human interest. Spend a while to have a chat with them and you won't be disappointed. Charming is hardly adequate. 

My husband and I stayed for two nights when visiting from Dubai for my cousins wedding. Above and beyond does not begin to describe the incredible service and kindness we were shown. The tents were beautiful and so unique. The hot tub was such a fun addition. The whole venue is so peaceful and exquisitely kept. I would 100% stay again.

We've just celebrated our eldest son's wedding at this most amazing of venues.  If anyone is planning a wedding in the future then look no further than Pentre Mawr. 

Arriving Friday afternoon, we checked into one of their fantastic safari lodges and just relaxed in the hot tub before the delicious pre wedding family meal.  Then Saturday, the wedding, which was seamless.  Abi the wedding planner was so professional and personable and made it all look so easy . 

We were lucky with the weather so the ceremony was conducted outside with the fantastic views but never fear, if raining there's a beautiful marquee in the secret garden. 

Bre and Graham, the owners, have a wonderful place and should be very proud with what they've achieved.

We got married on Wednesday 27th July 2022 at the pentre mawr after having to reschedule twice due to covid, through the whole process the whole team has been amazing. They helped our day be as perfect as it could be, from the night before and the amazing meal, to helping with anything we could need, Bre, Graham, Nina & Abi have been amazing. Nothing was too much effort, the safari lodges were amazing and no one could believe how fun they were!! 

The venue was stunning, the outside areas were perfect and the flexibility to be able to choose where we got married at the last moment, made sure we had the most perfect day.

Lucille at the bar was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much for them and they made sure everyone was always having an amazing time!! Trust me, everyone noticed!!

Having the Pinterest room there made the dressing of the venue so easy, and there really was so much to choose from!! Making it easy for us to have it exactly how we envisioned.

The breakfast for both mornings was just superb, allowing everyone to spend some quality time
Together!! 

The way that the team treated everyone, including our photographer made everyone feel like they were at home.

We absolutely loved it, and couldn’t of asked or wanted anything more. 

Thank you so much, Bre, Graham, Nina and Abi, for making it the most special couple of days, and making sure it was an event everyone will remember!!

Myself and husband got married here 16.07.22 and we couldn't recommend it enough!!!
Bre and Graham are such wedding people and it makes such a difference to the planning of wedding and the day.
Abbie and nina are just perfect un every way from planning to the day after the wedding. Honestly even to the finest of details.. perfect. Every member of staff we meet while there were so polite and kind. Each person took the time to talk to u and ask us how we were and how it went on with the day.
To put it simply... don't bother looking any where else for you wedding. Just book here!
The grounds are to die for, every where you look there is an amazing view, we had so many comments on the amazing views and amazing venue.
The accommodation for our family and friends was brilliant, it was great to have the closest friends and family in one place. We all loved where we stayed. And I particularly loved the bridal walled garden the morning on the wedding. Watching people going taking there seats from thw bathroom window without being seen was fantastic!!
Bre and Graham thank you so much for having us ❤️ and sorting out the line up! You guys make this venue so very special and we will certainly be staying again in the future.

First we would like to say a huge thank you to Pentre Mawr for the most memorable and beautiful day of our lives, we couldn't have imagined a better venue for our special day (and our guests agree!)

We booked PM back in 2020 after visiting their open days and after looking at few other venues in the North Wales area. We were looking for a venue that could offer a good space outside and inside, as we hoped for the summer vibe feelings for our July wedding. 

PM had so much to offer, it was really difficult to say no. Beautiful scenery, the marquee, the stunning and historic family home with multiple areas certified for ceremonies with the registrar (indoor and outdoors). We decided to have a celebrant conduct our ceremony in the Secret Garden, a lovely surprise for our guests, I won't give too much detail as it definitely secret you need to see for yourselves!

From the get go, Bre, Graham (owners) and Nina the GODESS of wedding planning, helped us to create our day the way we imagined it. Nothing was an issue and Nina was just fantastic at answering any queries or anxieties we had leading up to the big day. They were able to recommend suppliers for catering etc that were just absolutely fantastic at what they do.

When we arrived on the 8th July 2022 for our exclusive wedding weekend, we were greeted with the most wonderful co-ordinator Abbie who looked after us so well that we, including my family wanted to take her home with us. Thank you for everything Abbie.

The venue offers a number of rooms for guests to stay inclusing the safari huts, a truly unique experience. Those who stayed in them said it felt very private, cosy and romantic. The facilities in the huts excelled in guests expectations, and same goes for all other rooms provided. 

The evening meal on the day we arrived at the venue was a fantastic way for our family and friends to get together, relax, calm some nerves and start the weekend celebrations. The food was truly fantastic, made by the wonderful Bre and served with a smile from Abbie. We had such a lovely evening, maybe a little too much, we didn't get to bed till 12.30pm! 

Breakfast was again fantastic, served for our guests in the barn, and for myself and my close family in the Bridal Cottage. As well as serving food, Abbie was on the ball with the small details that we didn't want to loose, arranging all the suppliers as well as dealing with guest queries. 

Our beautiful day couldn't have been any more amazing, we were lucky enough to have the weather on our side which meant our homemade ice cream bike didn't go to waste. We hired an event dresser for our centrepieces etc but PM have a cheeky pintrest cupboard that also offers centrepieces/decor/game which made sure we didn't miss any little touches. 

I could honestly go on forever, but overall, the food, accommodation, cleanliness and facilities were fantastic. The staff were polite, organised and would do anything in their power to make everyone happy. What more could you need?

An honest review would leave some room for some honest feedback. The pool wasn't available, not 100% sure of reason, possible a ?missing part. But I'm sure this is through no fault of PM, and sure there is a good reason.

Another teenie tinie detail that may have been overlooked....   After our wedding breakfast, we had to initiate our own speeches, cake cutting etc. Which felt abit strange after Abbie and Bre being so organised throughout the whole stay, I think we felt abit lost without them! However, we are not robots, we all need a break. We had a fantastic photographer and DJ that helped in this process (and I'm sure that's why, PM have years experience in weddings and usually know how these things go) but unfortunately the mic wasn't working, luckily we have some big voices in our family so that wasn't too much of an issue.

If I were to mention anything else, I think I'd just be being picky. The whole experience felt like our own little honeymoon within our wedding! Our guests were so impressed with the venue, one couple even suggested that rheh renew their vows at PM! Myself and my husband (wow, that's weird to say outloud!) had the luxury of staying an extra night after our guests had gone home. Which just gave us some time to unwind together. We definitely felt like we wanted to stay forever.

Our daughter got married at Pentre Mawr on May 7th. All the team at Pentre Mawr were truly amazing, nothing was to much trouble and they all went out of their way to make this such a special day for all of us. Bre and Graham make it all look so effortless and are always smiling, I think the wedding manager was Abbie and again she was fantastic. 
We couldn't recommend the venue highly enough, it looked absolutely beautiful-it seems to have its own weather pattern and the sun shined all day!

A huge thanks to Bre, Graham, Nina and Abbie along with all the Pentre Mawr team that contributed to our perfect wedding day. It had been delayed by 2 years, due to pandemic, but it was definitely worth the wait. The venue is fantastic. A hidden gem nestled at the foot of the Clwydian Hills range in Denbighshire. Great open spaces, converted barns and secret gardens make for a magical stay. The accommodation is conf, quirky and fun. The main house is an eclectic mix of family memorabilia and the safaris tents are magical whisking you off to the savannah plains once through the door. All with luxury furnishing to make for a memorable  stay. The team were fantastic; professional and personable in their approach. Nina’s support and meticulous planning guided us through from day one of booking to the big day. Abbie coordinated the wedding from arrival on Friday, Bre’s homemade and sumptuous welcome meal,  and the big day itself ensuring we were able to relax and fully enjoy the weekend. Bre and Graham were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and using their experience, friendly and fun loving nature they ensured our special day was just perfect. Thank you everyone.
