I was left on my own, worked out great, planned all my excursions to the lake district, ate when i wanted, slept in the day, if needed. Bike was safe in car park. En suite room. No complaints 5* cleaner was friendly, too!

Clean and quiet area, ideal for an overnight stay.

As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at  Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. A decent sized room ( Double ) ,there is plenty of Car parking spaces also if needed,i didnt try their Breakfasts, as i needed to be out early morning.

Our overnight was prior to Settle-Carlisle Railway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time - bar, restaurant and lodging were all great.  The guestrooms in the building behind the brasserie were so quiet and pleasant.  Emily served us on both arrival and departure and was helpful many times in between!  She's so friendly and ready to assist at any point, and she made our stay a pleasure.

Better than expected. Spacious room lovely bathroom. Good variety of foods in continental breakfast. Delicious reasonably priced fish and chips for dinner. House wine surprisingly inexpensive and good quality. Staff lovely

Was pleasantly impressed with the room .  Comfortable and twin beds were a second bedroom which was very nice giving us each our own space. Staff were friendly and price was good as well!

Afternoon Tea, went with friends for our first Afternoon Tea and it certainly won't be the last. The waitress was lovely,  food was amazing , plenty for 5 of us, would highly recommend , unfortunately don't know how much as our friend treated us, but she said it was value for money 

Me my partner & our son came for a carvery hadn't been to the county in a while so thought would give it a try.. greeted by a lovely lady I believe to b called Marjorie she was lovely & friendly & told us to choose a seat & she will come take our order... we had the carvery it was fantastic lots of choice & tasted amazing.. only thing was beef was chewy so left most of it but other than that empty plates... good priced aswell.. Will defiantly be returning & telling friends & family how good it was 

Beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms and super comfy!We had a fabulous dinner in the restaurant as well. We’d definitely return!

The remote check in was a bit problematic but once we gained access the room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. A little dated and exterior looks in need of some TLC. However there was a very big comfy bed and it was a very convenient location. The hotel didn’t open just the rooms in a separate annexe but there is plenty pubs and restaurants within walking distance so that was fine. Good value basic but functional accommodation can’t complain.

Great

Room was quite big which was great. Had all we needed. The condition was tired and bathroom is in need of an update. Wobbly tap, mildew surround, tiles coming off. Shower pressure was good. Two beds in the room, one mattress was fine, the other you could feel the springs. Dismantled it to add the spare quilt under the sheet for comfort and found stains on the mattress cover. There was a dirty towel left on the back of the door and a coffee cup lid behind the chair-more care needed when cleaning up. No toilet roll left. It was warm, adequate for our needs.

Ok for two nights

The lodge bar and restaurant was closed during my stay and I collected my room key by calling a number then opening a lock box. This was fine and no trouble. The room was basic but clean and tidy with everything I needed, tea, coffee, kettle, milk, soap etc. I was on my own for a one night stay and the location was great with plenty of parking. I travelled by motorcycle so it was to find plenty of things to chain it to. Even with the bar closed there were plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk and I found some cracking real ale and craft ale pubs with friendly locals.

The room was clean , comfortable and a good size with two armchairs . Good  sized bathroom . There was a shower over the bath but separate controls. I told the hotel I was gluten and dairy free and they provided me with three soya yoghurts , gf porridge , dairy free margerine  and gf bread and smashed avocado to give me a choice . Customer service was good . Decent coffee too We had a pleasant meal the night before as well and all together we were pleasantly surprised

What a welcome !   We visited with our 2 dogs, one a Bernese mountain dog and we were treated like celebrities (well, the dogs were!)

They were so welcomed by the staff and other visitors.   Our big girl was mobbed by about 10 people at one point.

The two ladies working were lovely and even thought they were clearly very short staffed they gave service with a smile.  

I only had a sandwich to eat which was fine and my husband had a chicken dish which he enjoyed.

Very Welcoming !

We ordered a family room as was in Lancaster taking a tour of the University with my daughter.  On arrival we were told they had allocated us two rooms as the pull out bed in the family room wasn't really suitable for an adult.  They didn't have to do this as my daughter would have slept ok on the on the 3rd bed but they put our comfort first at no extra cost.  Rooms were a great size and very clean so if my daughter does pick Lancaster as her university we will definitely stay again

Very Accommodating ...

Lovely welcome from Gary. Room was quite dated but very clean. Plenty toiletries and great towels. Comfy bed. Slight problem with the door lock but locksmith called straight away while we had a complimentary drink. Restaurant is lovely. Food and service spot on. Breakfast cooked fresh to order. Matt looked after us during our stay. We will be back.
