Abocurragh Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

My Dad and I stayed here for two nights and had a really good time. The place was clean, comfortable and has up to date amenities, including wifi. Bernie is very kind and friendly, and her breakfasts were delicious: overall I’d strongly recommend visiting.

My wife and I stayed at Abocurragh for two nights and it would be impossible to rate our stay highly enough. The house decor is beautifully and tastefully accomplished with a mixture of modern and traditional. The rooms are beyond comfortable with everything immaculate. Breakfast is a veritable feast cooked to perfection and presented with flair and imagination. While all this is more than grounds for staying it is all exceeded by the warmth of welcome and friendliness of the hosts. Bernie and her husband made us feel we were honoured guests in their beautiful farmhouse home. Having stayed in many places all over the world this is absolutely one of the very best and we would unhesitatingly recommend to everyone as an outstanding experience.

Together with my boyfriend and sister, we had a magical weekend at Abocurragh. Bernie and her husband were so welcoming and took care of our every need. The house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with homey and personal touches like fresh flower arrangements from the garden and family photographs. The rooms were large, cosy, clean, and we had an amazing nights sleep, complete with fluffy bathrobes and homemade cookies in a jar.

We were well fed with delicious breakfasts of fresh fruit salad, homemade, granola, fresh peppermint tea, and perfect runny poached eggs. We got the chance to watch the cows be milked in the farm and even got to see a baby calf that wasn't even a day old. Max the labrador was a good boy who came to show his love as we sat out on the backyard patio with our dinner outdoors. They had a fully covered area for us to relax outside while it rained complete with heating and blankets. We had great chats with the owners and we couldn't recommend this place more. The Stairway To Heaven Cuilcagh Boardwalk and the Marble Arch Caves are only 15 mins away for a great outdoor escape, along with Enniskillen where lovely restaurants are there for you to enjoy some good eats. Absolutely great value and you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely stunning views of the country side...the host ( bernie ) really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome during your stay..The rooms are impeccably clean , with really nice soft furnishings/bed.. en suite Breakfast is served from 0800 , but had to be at work earlier than this . Thus being so ,I had a breakfast wrapped up that I took to work and microwaved. Cannot fault in anyway whatsoever. 

The hostess was incredibly friendly and made breakfast a fantastic experience. Our room was comfortable, private and had all modern conveniences. The location is peaceful and allows for day trips to Cavan, Sligo etc.

We stayed here in October 2019. Bernie is such a warm and welcoming host!  The rooms are warm and comfortable.  The views out across the Fermanagh countryside are just beautiful. The en suite bathrooms were pristine. But the best thing was the breakfast the next morning - Bernie is a fabulous cook.  Thank you so much for everything

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. What a lovely farmhouse! Beautifully furnished throughout. Our bedrooms were very comfortable, plenty of room and of a very high standard. Lovely views from every window in the house. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty to choose from and cooked to perfection. Bernie is a delightfull hostess and makes you feel very welcome. If we are ever in this area again, we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The most welcoming, comfortable farmhouse B & B we have ever stayed in. A superb breakfast menu, comfortable bedrooms and a quiet location. There are only three bedrooms so you are assured of personal service.

Lovely to revisit after twenty years. The same high standard as all those years ago. Bernie should be very proud of herself as to maintain and even improve such a high standard over so many years is not easy. The place to stay if visiting this area. Looking forward to another visit in the new year.

Unexpected gem in Fermanagh

Fantastic place to stay

We had a nights stay here and our biggest regret is that we didn't stay for longer.  The Farm House is absolutely stunning.  Spotlessly Clean with such a homely and welcoming feel.  Bernie and Gerry are the most amazing hosts and could not do enough.  The rooms are all spacious, beautifully decorated and all have lovely views of the hills and surrounding fields.  We loved it in every regard, there is nothing to fault.  We will definitely visit again when we are back in Northern Ireland and next time for longer!! Perfect, just perfect!! Thank you Bernie and Gerry for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Absolutely Stunning

Wow! Abocurragh would take some beating. Bernie is absolutely charming and the accommodation superb. 

We were treated as good friends. This is hospitality at its very best. The breakfasts were exceptional.

The house and our room was immaculate. A working farm of dairy cattle, the whole family made us feel at home. 

Lovely rural views and a beautiful garden.

Fermanagh is a lovely district and Abocurragh  is a jewel in its crown.

Thank you to Bernadette and her husband for welcoming me into their B&B. I had travelled all the way over from Dundee, Scotland, and was touring around the whole of Ireland.

I had not booked, I just turned up on their doorstep, but they allowed me to stay in their lovely home for a couple of days. Thank you for being such lovely hosts.
