A very warm welcome, we arrived and the staff were rushed off their feet catering for a v large pre booked birthday party of 30 plus people. We were alliwed to book food even though dinner service was nearing a close. - & wow the proper cheese & onion pie , with homemade chips & fresh veg. Well done chef, delicious! Sat by the fire with a pint, chatting to other guesta and the landlords. They gave us local info for dog waljs etc. We will certainly make this pub a regular haunt. Thankyou to all staff, your dogs are gorgeous. And we will feel comfortable to bring along our 2 spaniels next time. Kind regards Joanne & Ben
