After a lot of driving in Thailand and a very busy schedule we needed one night of unadulterated luxury. We found it at Trisara. The check-in experience was serene, our baggage was whisked away and our car was valet parked. The hotel was reasonably full but we felt like we were the only guests in our private villa. All that is written on these pages about this beautiful hotel is true, the service, the views, the serenity and the spacious luxurious villas. I will just comment on additional things that stood out for us. They have the best hotel slippers outside of Japan! I read the towels were hand made in Thailand and my word they were soft and luxurious as were all the other amenities. We loved the additional exterior shower - very handy when using the private pool and quite simply the best turndown service we have recieved anywhere in the world (and there are a lot of curtains to draw!) I will leave you readers to be suprised by the little treats that are placed in the room. The breakfasts are extensive, creative and cater for all. When served outside with the view of Koh Weao and a clear blue sky and looking down on their private beach it is simply superb. Thank you Edward for recommending this hotel and also K. Tom for being our personal buggy chauffeur.
