Nerjaluna

Was everything that we could have asked for. We booked a 5 week stay, the courtyard location was ideal for us, very peaceful,. Apartment was light and airy. Bedroom was on the mezzanine floor, only downside was that bathroom was on the ground floor but it did not spoil our stay. We cooked a few nights each week which was great. Quite a few supermarkets in the area one was just across the road from apartment so very handy. Location was fantastic in the heart of Nerja near shops, cafes, restaurants/bars offering fantastic food/tapas and excellent service. Beaches are all in walking distance. White wash village Frigiliana is not too far (6km) we walked there (buses go there) and it was a lovely walk, the village is a must see!! Stunning views and such a pretty village got to be one of the highlights. The cave's are not too far about a 45 minute walk but there are regular buses. The caves are also a definite must see... amazing and spectacular, cost is about 16/18 euro. Larz was brilliant providing all the information that we needed during our stay. We had all the facilities that we could need, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, all the necessary utensils, communal washing machine/ ironing board. Our beds were fantastic, really comfortable enjoyed great sleep. Oh I mustn't forget to mention the lovely hot showers ; plenty of hot water :-). We were very surprised to find out that there were 2 Michelin star restaurants in the area with one just round the corner Oliva where we experienced a fantastic starter menu. There is a lovely cafe just down the road (blue door) which is tucked away ideal oasis when you want to have a coffee and cake in peaceful surroundings it has amazing outdoor terrace, the place is of Turkish/ Moroccan style deco, highly recommended. The apartment was serviced weekly and the maid service was excellent. Cannot fault anything at all very highly recommended we will definitely be returning!! Thank you Bokanerja we had the most wonderful time in the winter sun :-).
