Hotel Arévalo

Staff were very friendly and helpful, despite my very limited Spanish and their limited English. Room was clean, bed comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with all that was needed. There was no air conditioning, but this was explained when we arrived (we hadn’t booked ahead) so no problem. The hotel is directly opposite a street that is full of cafe/bars that have outdoor dining, which is good because there is ample choice of good food and drink but it does mean that there is some noise if your room faces the street. We arrived on a motorcycle and were offered a space in the underground parking included in the price, which was excellent news. The location is good, around a fifteen minute walk from the old town and surrounded by cafes and bars that were great value and full of locals. Overall I thought it was excellent value and very good service. I would stay here again and would recommend it but be aware of the lack of air conditioning and possible street noise in the summer months.
