268 reviewsAs soon as we walked in the door of Katanka Guesthouse we were greeted by our host Alessandro who said, "Welcome home." And we really did feel completely at home during our week-long stay. This place has an appealing casualness about it, a warm and inviting vibe. Katanka is spacious with many rooms and outdoor spaces. We loved the amenities including a fridge well-stocked with wine, beer and other drinks (payment by the honour system). The rooms are all beautifully, imaginatively, quirkily decorated. Breakfast was an event with a different theme daily. We ate delicious food by candlelight at the large communal table while listening to Alessandro's great music choices. Alessandro and Carmengloria are lovely, affable hosts, and it was a treat for us to meet and interact with their children. Thank you for a truly memorable stay. Disliked · Housekeeping was a little haphazard. And the traffic was noisy.
