6 reviewsIf you enter Slovenia from Austria ( Bad Rackersburg as border city ), don't just drive further...Have a short stay to get used with small, very friendly and natural Slovenia. This corner of the country, with Murska Sobota as a beter known place, has its microclimate and a lot of thermal springs. Here begins your introduction to this less known country. I highly recommend everybody to stay at Guest House Tara - there is nothing I can write as a negative aspect. It is very clean, budget friendly, a gorgeous breakfast included in your room price, covered parking in front of the door, excellent Wi-Fi, a hostess, Ljerka, who can give you tips to visit places that are not mentionned in any guide book ( just bring your map of Slovenia with you ), comfortable beds, warm water, flat TV, and very quiet....the air is pure. You can go walking, rent a bike and roam around and eat local food 2 houses further from the guest house. There are some authentic places you can visit, for instance Bogojina, with a famous church, and the surroundings of it, specialized in ceramics.
