What an absolute gem this guest house turned out to be. The location was spot-on—right in the heart of Lisbon, in a safe and central area with easy access to all the key sights. The building itself was full of character: historic, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, with a cosy shared lounge that felt instantly inviting. We knew our room didn’t have an en suite, but the private bathroom just across the hall was excellent—well-equipped, spotless, and never gave us any trouble. The kitchen and breakfast setup were outstanding. A large communal table made it easy to chat with fellow travellers, and the breakfast spread was genuinely impressive: a generous bowl of fresh fruit, homemade cake, crusty bread, eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurts—it had everything you could want to start the day right. There was a bit of noise from the wine bars and restaurants below, especially after midnight, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t fix. Oddly enough, Friday night was quieter than expected! All in all, a fantastic find and a place I’d absolutely recommend. Thank you for a memorable stay.
