I 100% recommend this Riad!
Right at the outskirts of the Medina, with easy access to a busy street so you don't have to carry your luggage throughout the Medina!
The hosts are wonderful! Always available for recommendations: restaurants, taxis, tour guide (highly recommend as the fes Medina is a maze and hé speaks a lot of languages).
Breakfast was included and made in the spot!
Rooms are big and clean with Turkish baths!
The pool was very clean and taken care of!
I hope to return one day inchallah !

Such a beautiful house, we were made to feel very welcome by Abdelatif and Aisha.  Great breakfasts with homemade Moroccan bread, and the dinner they made us on the first night was delicious.  Elegant, secure and comfortable rooms.  Would happily return there in future.

We stayed there over New Years. 4 adults and 4 kids.  It was wonderful. We had the best time. It is such a lovely place, clean and very well located.  The Maître D is absolutely fantastic and so helpful.  We even had dinner there and the food was delicious.  You will not be disappointed if you stay there and this place is great to play hide and seek in.

went to Morocco with our teenage daughters and another family- place fit the seven of us comfortably.  It was clean, not glamorous or upscale, more traditional and realistic.  Abdelatif, our riad manager, was invaluable.  He was great at reading if we needed help or if we wanted to be alone.  He knew a lot of people and was able to get us into places we would not have been able to go on our own.  He walked us wherever and whenever we felt we needed him.  We had a wonderful two nights here and would highly recommend it.

A group of us rented Riad Eleganza and it was a great stay! The Riad is in a very good  location. Not in the craziness of the Medina but close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see. The rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. They provided portable heaters in the rooms which were a nice touch considering how cold it got at night. We were met by Abdel who was a nice gentleman who showed us around. The panoramic views from the top of the riad are stunning! The only suggestion I would have for the owners are to have more lighting in the common areas and rooms.

Although we were 6 people we booked for 7 so my son could have his own room. However, it was way up on the terrace. The location of the riad is easy to access from the road via taxi and there are restaurants close by. Abdellatiff the housekeeper was very warm and accommodating and helpful. The riad can be improved upon with better lighting. We had an enjoyable stay in Fes.

A pretty place

Beautiful Riad!

My family of 7 rented out the four central rooms of the riad during the week between Christmas and New Years. Though the place is very pretty, I would recommend that a visitor to Fes look elsewhere for anything longer than a couple of days. If you are traveling solo or as a couple, I would recommend this place as a B&B. 

The good: the riad is located in a very convenient spot near the entrance to the Souk, but still on outside the twisty and turny alleys so that it is super easy to reach by taxi and to catch a car when needed. The place is beautiful on the inside and the rooms are very pretty. The riad is clean and the meals were well priced and good, if a little simple; they were as good as what you will find at most small Moroccan restaurants in the area. The riad was cool in December, but the heaters were working perfectly. 

The bad: the riad is not set up for a full rental. It seems to generally function as a B&B, as there is no real comfortable communal space r dining area in the atrium. The entire place is VERY dark to the point that you can hardly read in the common areas or in a couple of the rooms. There was, as other reviewers have noted, some moments where the manager of the riad was giving us the hard sell on tours around the city, and he was very eager to criticize the restaurants in the area generally, offering to arrange meals at a restaurant he strongly recommended (the places we selected at first ended up being lovely). Finally, while Hamid, the resident "houseboy" was helpful, the three cooks/maids were in the house ALL THE TIME, even when there were no meals to prepare, and they spent much of the day sitting around and chatting when we were hanging out or napping. 

Overall, if you are in Fes for a day or two as a couple, I think this riad would be just fine. If you are looking for a home to rent out, keep looking. 

Pretty but imperect

Nothing exceptional but a good lunch in a less touristy restaurant than usual. The traditional food was good and service fast and professional. the dining room is nice and welcoming and also the bill was ok

Good place for a Lunch near the centre

This place is a filthy dump.  It has unrealized potential but the deferred maintenance and lack of cleaning make this place a non-starter for any discerning traveler 

Photos are sort of legit but misleading
Pool was cloudy / dirty.  All en-suites have tiled “wash tubs” with a shower wand.  

Male manager is a creep

We lasted one night (I put a t shirt over my pillow case because I didn’t want my face to touch the fabric) and decamped for the Marriott.

Lydia - the AirBnB ‘host’ is a bully to get guests to not post the truth.  I’m ready for her incoming rage response to this post. Don’t believe a thing she says

We travel a lot - over 70 countries and every continent - not bragging just speaking to experience.  This place was on par with that $15 a night place in Guatemala.  Made some places in Laos look like the Ritz

In all my years, this is the first place I’ve left early.
