Dana Guesthouse is in a stunning location in Dana Nature Reserve with beautiful views down the Wadi.
The rooms are simple but spacious, clean and comfortable, providing everything you need for your stay. Dinner offered a well prepared buffet with plenty of great dishes to choose from.

The staff are local people from the village and the Reserve - one of the purposes of Dana Guesthouse is to support the local people - and Salim , in particular, couldn't do enough to ensure we were happy and comfortable.

This is much more than a simple Guesthouse- it's a beautiful home from home for your visit.

Very clean and safe property, owner is very helping and staff is also good, view from room is amazing of garden, location is near dal lake, hounest suggestions and trustworthy we expressed if we ask for any cab, booking at other locations, market, food related stuff. 
They make you feel at Home and happy trip experience .

Visited as part of an organised trip to the nature reserve - fabulous walk with spectacular views and scenery. Stopped at the guest house for lunch - lovely fresh food - freshly prepared and really tasty!! lovely staff - really friendly!! Recommended!

The views across the gorge are spectacular - amazing location.  The food was extremely well flavoured and prepares- delightful smokey babaganoush, really excellent plov (uzzy(?) In arabic) and some fine spicy chicken..  our best lunch stop in Jordan.

We stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe room with twin beds. The room was very spacious with 2 big comfortable beds. It had a nice terrace with a direct view into Wadi Dana.
The view from the terrace is outright spectacular. Amazingly you have the same spectacular view from the shower! The shower pressure is not strong so this gives you the perfect excuse to enjoy that view from the shower a bit longer. A/C and wifi worked well. We didn't have a phone signal there but because the wifi worked fine that was not a problem at all. 
The food was, as in all the Wild Jordan places we stayed at, average. 
The location is absolutely super and I think of all the places in Dana you still get the best deal in Dana Guesthouse.
Wild Jordan rates are always a bit steep but of the 3 Wild Jordan places we stayed at this was the nicest with the best overall price/quality ratio.  

It was amazing experience with Dana’s it was very calm services very good food delicious juice testing good people whose working in it very helpful and nice I’ll back it again very soon to visit finan track 

The view from the balcony (and the shower!) was unbelievable!
The food was plentiful and the staff friendly, there is also a shop next door with some good local products.
We went for a hike  with a Bedouin guide named Salem. We had a great time walking with him in the valley and drinking tea by the fire.
The village was very small but charming, we had a very nice chat with one kiosk owner in town.



We had a home made food prepared by Um Mohammad, best meal we had in Jordan, you feel likenyou are having it at their house. Taste of love and Jordanian home made food. Highly recommended. Reservation is needed in advance. 

Stunning views of the canyon from the hotel rooms as well as the dining area. Very romantic place to watch the sunset from. Dinner was excellent, one of our favorites from our stay in Jordan. Perfect location for hiking Wadi Dana or Wadi Ghweir and would definitely stay here again.

Great location and clean comfortable accommodation. Better to stay here in spring/early summer as no air conditioning. There was dinner available every evening for 7 JOD which was tasty and good. Breakfast is good and varied. Plenty to do and see.

A stunning place to visit

A unique experience in a stunning location that was fine for a one night stay. Staff were friendly, the terrace overlooking the Dana reserve stunning, the hiking accessible from the hotel excellent and the spacious rooms with many modern facilities such as a rain shower, tea kettle and mini-fridge. Food was good, but not the best I had in Jordan. Downsides were the lack of English spoken by the staff, hard beds with scratchy sheets, rusted and collapsed bench on the balcony, safe that didn't work and a shower that was a bit grimy. 
Would recommended for a short stay if you love stunning landscapes, hiking and an authentic, off the beaten path experience in Jordan.

Amazing view and spacious room

We stayed a few nights whilst walking the Dana Valley.  Lovely room , a little tired but clean and spacious its fabulous shower  allowed you to look out of a glazed side panel directly onto the gorge .
Best aspect was its great position, poised a above the valley with beautiful views.
Food OK Buffet style menu with decent evening meal choices though the breakfast food was a little limited and had been scavenged by a couple of coach parties so not much left towards end of breakfast . Most other RC. Lodges offer fresh eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs etc . So was a bit surprised that it was just Arabic breakfast and hard boiled eggs.
The manager was really helpful and picked up up at the far end of the gorge walk and drive us back,  taking 2.5 hours ( cost 50 dnr)
Little gift shop and craft studios on site worth a look and walk into the village .
All in all, a special place with spectacular landscape 
 

Fabulous views and unique experience

We stayed here only 1 night in mid October. The location of the guesthouse built on a precipice jutting out overlooking the Wadi Dana  & the views makes this place a worthwhile stop enroute to Petra. The rooms are not luxurious but big & comfortable enough....bathrooms are small & very basic but the shower has a great view. Dinner was decent & the kitchen staff very sweet bringing us warm bread because I can't have cold pita. Breakfast however was not good at all . We didn't have enough time to do the longer hikes but we did drive down to the Rumana campsite for which we had to pay an extra 10JD. They take you to the campsite in a covered truck on some really bumpy trails with amazing views & once there can take any of the hiking trails.
The place does need a refurb otherwise the manager & staff at the guesthouse were very friendly & nice . Its very difficult to get a booking here so book well ahead.

Location & Views !

Rooms have the best view I think I have experienced from a hotel: Looking at the valley with no disturbing man made objects! Rooms are big, nice and well furnished. Bathroom is nice, and if you draw the curtain away, you have the most amazing view from the shower. Restaurant is good, but remember to check the time for breakfast noted on the whiteboard.  Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

An amazing place!

Beautiful location, good food, quite. Friendly staff,  Salim draws perfect maps for hiking ;-)  Perfect if you like nature . Many trails or a balcony to relax and enjoy.  The view from our shower was the best ever, really.  Prepare for cold wind     .

One with the mountains

Stopped here as part of a tour for a short hike and lunch. Wished we could have stayed longer. The scenery is amazing and the restaurant clean with an amazing choice of freshly prepared dishes and complimentary juices. Recommended.
