We stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton Osaka Castle for 3 nights. The hotel is located a short walk from Temmabashi station (Osaka metro Tanimachi Line and Keihan railway line which runs to Kyoto) and Osaka Castle and park directly on next to the Neya river. As we arrived from Kyoto, the proximity to the Keihan line station was an added plus. The hotel is a large, high-rise complex and as Hilton Gold we received an upgrade to a high floor with castle view (which was really great). The room was of decent size and featured modern interior. For coffee, the room has a nespresso machine with water and ice being provided through a dispenser near the lift area on each floor. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor and was free as Hilton Gold. As an additional perk, all Hilton Gold and Diamond members received every morning a little voucher for a nice little cake. Food-wise, the hotel offered a great choice of local and continental items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is convenient as it features good access to public transport and the park around Osaka Castle (also good for a run in the morning).
